PSG (like Chelsea now) will probably be a self sustainable brand in a few years. If Monaco mange to win trophies then they might be able to create a brand as well. It's about gaining a fan base and PSG and Monaco can definitely do that better than Anzhi who a) Play in Russia which has a small global audience b) haven't played in the Champions League once since being taken over lol

PSG have one thing going against them and that is the 75% tax rule.(I mean their spending spree is going to be a bit limited by that).

I'm not sure how Monaco can continue with such an unfair advantage over other Ligue 1 teams.

Monaco being a tax haven is a debate that goes beyond football so I doubt that advantage will be going anywhere. Plus you can bet the guys running the show at the FFF love the idea of having a potential super club rivalry between PSG and Monaco.

As for the 75% tax it won't be there forever and PSG will probably still be able to finance their needs till that law is gone.

People confused me, people who didn't even watch the Russian league all over the UK including on here, insisted that Eto'o wasn't 'past it' because he had an ok goalscoring record in a shit league
