i think its more of a case of him being inconsistent, he isnt worth 35million thats for sure.

The transfer market is so distorted and absurd that it's difficult to gauge what any player is actually worth. I guess it boils down to what the player is worth to the buying club.

Because of the European leagues he has played for. They rarely if every call up players from Ukraine/Russian league

If he went to Spurs/Chelsea/Madrid or whatever and tore it up he would likely get a call here and there for sure

Top player Eto'o no doubt about it. However, seeing the recent trend of chelsea signings, he does not fit their profile. They are signing players about 19-23 years old. Already trying to rebuild and bringing eto would destroy the prospects of some talented recruits.

PSG (like Chelsea now) will probably be a self sustainable brand in a few years. If Monaco mange to win trophies then they might be able to create a brand as well. It's about gaining a fan base and PSG and Monaco can definitely do that better than Anzhi who a) Play in Russia which has a small global audience b) haven't played in the Champions League once since being taken over lol
