We would have been embarrassed by City in the final anyway. I think the players saved themselves from humiliation.
That's the only positive I can take.
We won't have to witness City put 6 or 7 past us.

Jones and Rafael shooting over Valencia and Hernandez?....notice how we sat back as soon as Valencia came on?.....because kagawa was not there to link the forwards to the back.....4-4-2 is dead moyes you bloody idiot

We scored, decided to take Kagawa off so Valencia can come on and so we can park the bus. It wasn't just Valencia coming on, the shift to defense was deliberate by Moyes. He is so negative. 5 losses in 6. Unbelievable.

Knew we were out when it went to penalties. Had no faith in our penalty takers. I'm not even mad, Sunderland dominated us from the second half onwards.

SAF has unintentionally fcked us over by picking this horrible, clueless manager. Absolutely no balls in him and that is resonating towards our players who all look like the scared little kittens (with the exception of Januzaj).
We have turned into Everton. With Rooney and RVP, we're just a bit better....without those 2, we're worse than his Everton teams.
I can't stand the sight of him.

Him, Kagawa and Januzaj were the only positives for us out there today.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Honestly, think Januzaj was very hot and cold today. The rest of the team playing so badly has lowered our standards a bit. Januzaj did have same good moments but he was quite selfish at times today, and we could've really killed them off if he passed to Jones. He made up for it with the assist for Chico, though.
And that Kagawa sub must be one of the worst I've ever seen, really. What manager takes off the best performing player when the reason is not injury/fitness issues?

I agree with you BB about Januzaj today. He was selfish at times. But I think it's got to the point where maybe he just doesn't trust the players around him. He has so much confidence in himself. so I think he has more trust in himself than others.
I know that may sound crazy a bit lol.

Yeah, I get you. It's like playing with your mates, after a while you pass less and less to the rubbish ones, and start to take it upon yourself to make the difference.
I also don't think he should've taken a penalty, he's so young and it seemed like it was inevitable he was going to miss. I heard he cried too, poor lad.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
the beeps in redcafe were so vocal and supportive when kagawa got subbed off, said he was shite and deserved to be taken off and even commented valencia do not deserve all the criticism he is getting.
I was baffled, wondered whether we were watching the same match or not after those reactions.
Anyway a fabulous kick in the teeth for Moyes and I am glad his fcking negative game plan is going repeatedly awry. Protecting a one goal lead against sunderland for 120 minutes. Bravo Mr.Moyes!
5 losses in 6 games in all competitions. Unbelievable. The club's patience has a limit after all.
Wish we had at least an Everton or a Newcastle to face in the next couple of games. Instead we have cardiff, stoke and fulham He may escape once again hence by we scrapping to wins in those games. The 'Lucky one' But having said that hehe we never know with him at the helm.
p.s And yea letting januzaj take a crunch spot kick. Unbelievable. Did the fk-azz moyes even think about the kinda impact it is going to have on the boy's morale if he missed. Now all we can do is seriously hope it wont affect his incredible mental attributes.

HAHAHAHAHAHA? Please tell me you were joking? Buttner wasn't bad? well he surely wasn't good either! Absolutely terrible, can't cross! Can't shoot! Can't link up with players when pulling off a routine play. And Danny Welbeck? Why is he even at Carrington Training ground other than having the job at being a free kick dummy. He is not a striker, nor a winger, nor an outfield player for that matter. Two much crap in one team to be actually hopeful for the future. Release Welbeck, Young and Valencia from their contracts straight away. All of them couldn't pass wind or score in a wh*re house!
Fletcher is out for 2 years pretty much and is playing outstanding compared to those 3 idiots. I would add cleverly to the list but with Nick Powell coming back at the end of the season he will phased out eventually.

Well.. that is what we all want right. But that is also exactly what is not going to happen sadly.
Moyes instead will sell kagawa, hernandez, and nani next summer and keep the first trio as his first step towards rejuvenating the squad (a.k.a transforming us to everton)

What a mentality boss.
Like we were facing Bayern in the UCL final and led 1-0 till 89 th mnute. Moyes is sure 1 in a million.
