Pretty sure it's grammatically correct, it just sounds terrible, because usually when you use the word superior, you are talking about one thing being better than another, whereas Fatman was saying that ES's knowledge was equal to his. Although his overall point was that their knowledge was equal, but better than everyone else in the forum.

Out of interest Kick and fitty, who are Chelsea likely to play in their backline this year? Has pre-season given much indication on how Mourinho will accomodate all of Azpi, Iva, Luiz and Terry?

Well, He was leaning towards a backline of Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Cole during pre season, however, He has stated time and time again that Luiz is one of our best players so I can see Luiz playing over Cahill. I think Azpilicueta will get decent game time at RB too but Ivanovic looks like the starting RB for now.
