That big of a deal really? a couple penalties?nj wrote:on a spanish TV show, this is him facing a young GK and scoring 5 penalties in 22 secs.
you will notice the diversity of his shoots (including a panenka at the end ),
but also how this is good exemple of a 2 footed genius (scoring from left & right apparently isnt a problem for him)

Not really, I'm just wondering why it's such a big deal, if anyone cares to explainxabi wrote:Lionel Messi wrote:That big of a deal really? a couple penalties?nj wrote:on a spanish TV show, this is him facing a young GK and scoring 5 penalties in 22 secs.

Tbf, I don't really see this as that godly either?
With age, your form disappears, but not necessarily your skills, he is still Zidane.
Why is it so special that Zidane can kick in 5 (pretty cool) penalties against an amateur goalie?

Nothing special about it. Zidane worshippers get impressed by whatever he does. If you mock Zidane, they get very sensitive. I posted a video of a 4 year old doing the exact same penalty drill he just did and it got deleted. Zidane's a legend, but the amount of praise he gets is sometimes ridiculous and is getting annoying.

What irony? Does this have something to do with Barca?

Oh no, nothing to do with Barca.
Just amazed at the quick mindsets on display.
