Lass is a boss RB
Does everything... defend, pass, dribble. Blanc and him went at it as Blanc begged him to move there permanently and Lass said "no. i'm a midfielder.". So he was left off France NT.
Now you see him at RB just dominating in every way. Can be stop being stupid and understand people actually are trying to help him?
Unbelievable game so far.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Guess you missed the huge turnover that almost cost us a goal.....
or I could mention his absolute woeful passing in general in the first half backed up by stats which show he is passing at 75% for a fullback that is horrid.....
He is getting forward and over lapping well though I will give him that

Fantastic game.
Agree lass has been amazing so far.
And hate to say this but Benz really has to start over Higgy...
Ozil's having a pretty good game so far, everyone is even Fabio.
Does anyone know the record of not conceding in the UCL?
Bet Lyon will score in the opening 5minutes now lol

Oh no, not another thread with Sportsczy supporting yet another french player!!!
My thoughts after 1st half is entire right side is weak today. I'm not impressed with lass at all, in any position and Di Maria is holding onto ball too long before looking for pass.

You support the Spaniards, Sports overrates Frenchies, Babun Germans, etc. Thats the (annoying) way of life.
Anyway, Lass was solid, I was impressed, but hes not better than any of our proper RBs. IMO Carvajal or Varane should have got the chance.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
He did very well imo. And he did more overlaps on the right side than we've had combined all year long.
I'm not a fan of Lass because i think he overrates himself and makes bad decisions as a result. One of the horrible ones is to not move to fullback. If he got some training and time doing it, he would really be a beast. Has the perfect profile for it (bulldog defending, high work rate, etc.).

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Lass was great at RB
so no Marcelo, Coentrao, Arby for Osasuna.....
that means one thing
one more time to get discarded for Carvajal

Carva > Lass IMHO.
Lass was all right but Carva eats him alive.

You guys are assholes towards the guy, show him some god damn respect for a decent performance.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Lass showed little respect to the crest when he was a whiny b*tch all summer. He didn't show the club or you as a fan any respect so really we owe him nothing, if anything he's lucky we don't just spontaneously make threads about how much he sucks hairy donkey balls.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
He did nothing special lol
A game against a non existent Lyon attack in which he had about 80% passing success rate
Let him deal with a offside trap situation or decent dribblers and put him in a high pressure situation.....the result will be incredible.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Me? An asshole? Perhaps but as Z pointed out, he barely showed much respect for the white shirt so if no one cares about a decent performance which really wasn't all that decent, that's all on him...

Re: Lass is a boss RB
i was not able to watch the match unfortunately but two years ago or when ever we bought carvalho, i was hoping to use lassana as RB to push ramos in the middle with pepe.
he has all that ability to be a fantastic RB, physicality, speed, can bring the ball from defense well, overlaps..
but its obvious he hates playing as RB

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Only one this game maybe not enough evidence for this, but lass did look much better than anything he has shown from playing in the mid this season so far.

The less he has to think and the more it's about one-on-one duels, the better he'll do. He just doesn't have a high football iq, which is why midfield is a bit of a disaster at times.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
ofcourse he is boss. This has been clear from last year.
Looking ahead, he'll only improve even more with more play time.

Re: Lass is a boss RB
Still prefer robocop there, would like to watch varane have a go in an official match
Lass still isn't even close to crucial to our team, but a nice option to have.
