One generally doesn't support rivals regardless unless you're Italian. Are you Italian by chance?

I know I am. I didn't say I wasn't. But I wouldn't mind if they lost to Valencia or Villarreal, if it was Real I would.

Yes, I get that but why do you support two rival clubs and yet not support Real Madrid. They are, after all, Barcelona's rival and a Spanish club...

I support Valencia and Villareal as well because I want la liga to be more competitive and they play good football.

I'm not spanish. I don't live in Spain. So I don't attach myself to clubs because of my origins or anything like people over there do. So what do I care if they're rival clubs.
Also I like Madrid. They are an entertaining team. I want them to advance in CL as far as possible. Just don't want them to win it lol. Rather have vill, val or barca. I prefer barca over madrid, so why would I want to watch Madrid win trophies over Barca.

Course, I was barracking for them until they met Barca. Then I wanted to watch them get flogged

you will notice the diversity of his shoots (including a panenka at the end ),
but also how this is good exemple of a 2 footed genius (scoring from left & right apparently isnt a problem for him)
He could have been still playing, I wish that he still was miss the guy.

miss him too, but imo he did good stopping when he did.Raptorgunner wrote:

i think its better to know when is the right time to stop, especially for great players.
you know, to finish on top, rather than keep playing in your mid/late 30ies completly washed up, tarnishing your reputation.

Re: Zidane is still a boss
I didn't really see anything wrong with La Liga's posts, but whatever. What is so bad about supporting all the teams from your favourite competition in the CL? I hope all Dutch teams make it far in the CL/Europa league, even though they are Ajax' direct rivals... Doing well as a country in Europe increases the competitiveness of your league by giving you extra CL spots etc. + if you like a particular type of football (say, Spanish football), you like to see it do well no? This way of thinking might be a bit more logical for smaller competitions, but there is nothing wrong or weird about it?? +1 for la liga guy.
Anyway, Zidane still a boss, but he sures likes to "humiliate young goalkeepers" lately, no? Bit douchey to embarrass kids like that, although no one would judge them for it, I suppose, for getting owned by Zidane.

Unfortunately some fans think otherwise
Not always.
He started his career off slow. Wasn't too impressive in Ligue 1. Absolutely killed it for Juventus and RM, though.
