Pep's First Press Confrence
Does anybody know where I can find it? I slept right through it.

Re: Pep's First Press Confrence
Well, I was pretty much impressed that he already gave a PK after only a few months of German lessons (albeit very intensive ones as was reported). Of course he had quite an accent and he was looking for words once in a while, but nonetheless I highly admire his courage to brave a pack of about 240 reports plus the idea that likely millions of people on TV would be witnesses to his attempts to brave the new and not too easy foreign language.
He appeared as a very humble, down to earth and a charming person. As Thomas Tuchel was quoted: "Jetzt wird Bayern auch noch sympathisch. Sie liefen ja unter Heynckes schon Gefahr, gemocht zu werden!" ("Now Bayern are even getting likeable! And they were already in danger of becoming personable when Heynckes coached them.")

Personable?
Did he say any quote worthy sentence like the ones he said in his first press conference at Barcelona?

Re: Pep's First Press Confrence
Well, I quoted the original German by Tuchel - the way he formulated it, he used two versions of "likeable/to be liked", a stronger and a weaker one. In English it just doesn't work as well, so I tried to use "personable" as the weaker version of "likeable/to be liked" that Tuchel used.free_cat wrote:Personable?

As for any worthy quote - well, I have to admit there wasn't a really strong sentence to be quoted, from what I remember. But the whole way he conducted the PK, he really appeared as a very likeable person and he easily managed to win the media by the way he talked to them.
