Arsenal are set to lose out on another striker to Juventus, with the Italian side closing on an instalment-based deal for Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain.
Juve already appear to have beaten the Gunners in pursuit of Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic and now look set to deny Arsene Wenger’s men once again, as they finalise an agreement for Higuain.
According to Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport, Madrid are to allow Juve to pay for the striker in three or four instalments following a meeting between the two clubs.
The only remaining sticking point on the switch is the Argentina international’s transfer fee.

Madrid are currently thought to be holding out for €30m, but Juventus have only so far offered €22m.
However, the clubs could be prepared to agree a compromise of €25m – a figure Arsenal would be unlikely to stretch to given their previous transfer dealings.
But the news does leave Arsene Wenger seeking a new striker and he could yet turn to Swansea’s Michu to support Olivier Giroud in the Gunners’ attack, according to reports.

Lmfao if we did (Personally I have my doubts on this) land both of them, and beat Arsenal to both of them. Then i'm going to have a good laugh.
