Re: The TV Series Thread
Supernatural is a good show but nothing special. in last 2-3 seasons it's just repeating itself. the relation between Dean and Sam which is the main thing in the show is not working anymore. atleast for me. i mean it's the same thing over and over again. Demon and angel stuff too.
ATM i only watch it because of Dean. he is my favourite character.

Re: The TV Series Thread
Taxi Driver was a good episode. Tied up a couple of ends that had been hanging around without much purpose. Always good to see one of the best characters in the show get more screen time
Sidebar - Finished both seasons of BBC's Sherlock and hot damn
Benedict Cumberbatch was dead on, I'd say. And was I the only one who found "The Woman" ridiculously hot?

Re: The TV Series Thread
The problem is in a show where the main storyline revolves around Angels & Demons is that after Armageddon was halted, plenty of the main Angels & Demons died and Lucifer was locked away you can't really top it from there.
The armageddon storyline was pretty much as big as it could get, now from what I can tell, apart from 1 demon (Crowley) you just have a bunch of normal black-eyed demons which mean fk all after sam & Dean have killed so many. And Angel wise you have Cas, Naomi, and regular angels which again, don't mean fk all.

I watch Supernatural but I give it a 6/10 rating overall. Time-pass for me.
Hopefully no panties are in a twist.

Re: The TV Series Thread
Caught Taxi Driver episode. Purgatory looks awesome. It looks like a forest i used to go hunting in. Hell scared the shite out of me the first time Dean got in it after season 3. This time we saw it differently, but it was still unpleasant.
Really dislike Naomi, can't wait for the biatch to die. Seeing Bobby again Benny back in Purgatory
And Tom is 100% right. Supernatural has already used the worst nemesis they could've used in Lucifer. Now that he's locked up, how can you possibly top the devil?? Crowley is the friendliest bad guy of all time ffs.
I have a feeling they will introduce God in the next two seasons

Re: The TV Series Thread
Having watched the latest 2 episodes of Vikings, I must say it's a good show, however it's nothing great. I hope people don't get fooled thinking this show is the quality of Game of Thrones, Rome, or Spartacus.

Any Southland fans in here?
That show keeps it so real and I often find myself in tears during episodes

Imagine if 2 of those joined together and did a special episode. Like a Walking Dead/Breaking Bad episode.

Re: The TV Series Thread
On Breaking Bad you could have like Walter and Jesse going to TWD's state/city to do a deal or something and they manage to do it with the help of Rick etc and escape from the city/state.

Nah supernatural should be standalone. It's like combining Nolans Batman with superman and all that mob, shouldn't happen.

Ffs they just got back from a fkn break man.
But I love 'em and they have some 20+ episode seasons so I won't complain any more.
I've just caught up on 'Vegas' really enjoy it.

It could be an episode that doesn't relate to the current storylines of both shows.

I did not get that. To be honest with you, I do not keep up with the news and things like that, way too depressing for me.

Re: The TV Series Thread
2nd episode of Hannibal was far better than the pilot. I do believe I'll keep watching.
Looking forward to the premiere of Defiance tomorrow night. This just might be the new Battlestar Galactica/Babylon 5/Stargate - Given that the creators of the re-imaged BG and Stargate helped create this show along with the creators of Farscape. Not at all convinced how the show interacts with the video game (which looks like an extremely decrepit man's Borderlands), but the show looks absolutely ace.
Beyond that I plan to download the previous seasons of Blue Bloods and dive into that and to start Da Vinci's Demons.
And yeah Dom, I'm a fan of Southland....dat latest episode was insane. Fantastic show. TNT saving it from NBC
