He has done pretty good at RM in terms of results but ironically he is going to leave because of bad relationships with many people.

i kinda agree with what he said.. though i do prefer iker as keeper, everything else is on point.

He's always been straightforward, but now he's saying everything he wants and feels only because he knows he won't be there for much longer.

Actually on this one, i do. He was starting to get Varane in early in the season and even in CL games in pool. At some point, he was going to give Varane a true shot if, for nothing else, to keep him at Madrid. Varane was looking for playing time next year and he would have left if he felt blocked at Madrid.

Some things you have to give Mou credit for. His handling of Varane is one.

You suggested that he HAD to pick Varane, I merely pointed out that we still had Carvalho and Albiol as possible choices.


You have to give him credit on his handling of Varane like Sports said.
We all prayed to have Varane as a starting CB after such amazing performances he would put out. And ultimately that led to Mou keeping Varane permanently as a starter.

im not saying varane wasn't getting games, but i honestly don't think he would've made full time starter at this point, if the season didn't go completely wrong plus injures well all knew he was gonna take over the spot but prob at the end of this season to the next

Mourinho is an attention seeking bastard, but by doing so he keeps the spotlight off the players and that helps him create a team mentality, that mentality that got him to win so much in the first place.

Keeps attention by saying how much better England and EPL are since the start of the season?

Motivating the team by saying that Madrid were not the better team and did not deserve to beat Man U?

He's spent the whole year interviewing for a manager job in EPL as opposed to managing Madrid lol.

his job is to manage the players and not to let rifts happen, he didnt do that, he failed in that regard. he cant expect every locker room he goes to, to submit to his will and to drink his word like gospel.

that being said, mourinho failed short of winning a CL in madrid because he proved to be average team builder. the kind of tactics he employed for underdog clubs like inter cant work in madrid. he couldnt figure that out, and he was repeatedly outdone by superior coaching.
