So I just read that in 2002, Australia has required a food label to show if a product is a GM product or contains GM ingredients in it (GM stands for genetically modified).

I'm just interested, do you lot then have a lot more care in picking which food you buy and what you don't? Do you go out of your way to avoid GM products? Moreso, what is the consensus of those around you. Even if you don't, do others tend to avoid GM food?

I'm just curious because I'm creating a paper for a class on genetically modified organisms (which obviously includes the plants and therefore the food eaten), and I stumbled across this and I thought I'd ask seeing as you guys, you know, live there.

I obviously won't use any of what you guys say in the paper because you all tend to lack any real credibility in spite of being bonafide Aussie badasses, but I'm curious as to what you guys do have to say.

Its a really fine print that says if it has GM stuff in it, its not like the fair trade label for example which is stanardised and made clear, which of course is done for marketing reasons. Tbh i dont thin theres a bigger concern in Australia then there is anywhere else about GM stuff, I've never heard complaints about it anywhere really
