Kiwi is a native birdof New Zealand. It's very rare and considered our National Emblim. By saying Kiwi, I mean New Zealander.

The problem is, their comedy is what my friends and I use to sound like. Their comedy style is very typical for Wellington which is where they and I grew up.

I have nothing but respect for them for taking it to the next level but I just don't find them funny because they have that Wellington Humour.

Takes about 8 months to hatch after being laid, but is great for eating at about 4-5 months. Has a lovely juicy texture under a furry skin and tastes sweet with a hint of sour in the white area. I have a Kiwi bird in my backyard that laid some fruit about 3 months ago. I can't wait until it's ripe. Mmm.

It's true, kiwi fruit is hard to get/expensive in the US due to shipping costs from New Zealand, not to mention it's not exactly the most abundant fruit out there.

Kiwi Fruit is originally from China though. I am sure they still grow it there.
