Real Madrid in the last 21 years

"In the last 21 years, Real Madrid has had 18 managers. The club has reached the semifinals of CL only 5 times in that span... 3 of them with Mourinho." - This was according to Mourinho.

Truth is.... Del Bosque reached 4 semis in a row and won 2 CLs from 1998 to 2002. So he's wrong. There were 7 semis in the last 21 years.

That siad... I don't like the man. But you cannot really argue that he's a very good manager.

Del Bosque and Jup won it in the last 21 year... tbh, Jup was a passenger on that team. He was told he was fired well before the end of the season and the players were coaching themselves lol. Hierro was the de facto player/manager.

also, correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the 2000 triumph come after VdB was appointed in the middle of the season, aftr Toshack was fired?! eco smile
