Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
“I want to wish Zanetti all the best, as he is a good man and a strong professional. I hope he can be back on the field as soon as possible. However, I would advise him to spend these next few months studying the evidence from the Calciopoli trial.”
He just doesn't stop does he

Re: Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
I for one am 99% sure that Inter got Moggi banned.
I remember Moratti saying in the summer of '98-'99 season..
That he filed a complaint against the FIGC that they should investigate the 97-98 serie a season.
Nothing happened......
Few years later Vieri was spied on by Inter.
Moggi got punished and Juve relegated.
Once Juve and Moggi got punished I was sure that Moratti and Inter were behind it all.

I think Serie A no stay relevant because people got tired of inevitable Calciopoli debates.

Re: Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
Nah I highly doubt people get put off of serie A because of a controversial debate.
If it was that easy to scare people away from a league, then the daily Messi V Ronaldo debates all over the world would have driven la liga into the ground
TBH it's just not that big of a deal. Moggi is pretty much gone from football.

Re: Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
Facchetti was the President of Inter before his death in September 2006 and wiretapped phone calls discovered in 2011 suggest he was also in regular contact with the refereeing designators during the Calciopoli years.
The FIGC Disciplinary Commission found Inter and Facchetti could’ve been charged with sporting fraud, but the statute of limitations had already expired.
Inter fans with their Honor and Glory b.s.

Re: Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
Inter were equally guilty, the FIGC helped ruin serie A
I'll leave it at that.

Re: Luciano Moggi wishing Zanetti well
I think that's just a bad stereotype Phritz.
These days, only a minority of fans can't control their emotions when it comes to the topic of Calciopoli. Most are able to have a perfectly civilised conversation about it.
It's universally acknowledged that some clubs cheated and that some cheated more than others.
Milan had a part in the scandal. And Milan was punished for it, as we should've been. I admit it and always have. What happened was wrong. Juve's situation was different though. They were found to have done the most dirty work and, as a result, their penalty was far harsher.
You expect Juve fans to be loyal to their club. When the club fought the charges the whole way and eventually lost, the choice for a fan is between blaming someone else or blaming the club you love. It's understandable that many fans would rather blame Inter (seeing as they were the beneficiaries of the penalties handed out to other clubs). It's all over now though.
Calciopoli tainted Serie A, but that's history. Moggi is irrelevant and banned from football for life.
Let's concentrate on the present and future development of the league instead.

The problem that I have with this is that Inter were guilty but were never charged. It's a load of bs honestly. But great post nonetheless.
