Could be up to 6 or 7 leaving, Suarez not one of them..
My understanding is Vorm is Rodgers's first choice..

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Kolo Toure on £45k-a-week for one year is OK. A two+ years contract and it's a huge risk of ending up with the same kind of deadwood that we worked so hard to clear out after Hodgson. "Just" 45k times 52 weeks is £2.3m a year and I'd rather spend that money someplace else as I think the chance of Toure playing well for us is too small.
£15m for Carroll is all right, but he'll do the right thing for himself to wait a little further into the summer to see does he get another options than West Ham. Whereever he ends up, watch him have a cracking season '13-14....

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
I'm reading that Carroll has a 25% sell on clause. So out of the 15million we will get barely 12-13

If that's true, Do we still see WHU paying 15million for him?

Eh, where's this coming from?
Also, I really don't believe there's a 25% sell-on clause for Newcastle in a £35m deal. No way.

All over the Internet yet you couldn't post one link to that news? I didn't see anything on the BBC, the Guardian or the Telegraph. Maybe he has a knock after the season, I don't know, but four months out sounds made up.

Yes i could not post anything because i am in office whole day but i try to keep in touch through my mobile. I found articles i read so i thought off passing on the news to friends with similar likings. Didn't have the time always to dig down articles through phone or while in work. So, please if you don't mind me posting here i will continue doing so as i am now.
And if in anyway you think I AM INDULGED in MAKING THINGS UP please feel free to report my post i believe slowly i would be knocked out of the forum.

This summer is crazy already. Our season ended 4 days ago and every morning I wake up to a whole bunch of new reports regarding transfers. tbh, I actually like it this way.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
The Telegraph now saying it's six weeks, byt anyway, a heel injury that requires only rest shouldn't be something that withdraws West Ham's interest, but personally I hope he joins some other club (or stays at LFC).

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Vorm is shit with the ball in his feet. Excellent keeper but he gets all nervy when the ball is played to him under pressure, Seen him make mistakes countless of times. Not the type of keeper we should be going for.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Why are we making such a big deal about goalkeepers' skills with the ball anyway? Reina is world-class in that department but I don't think that has won us any more points. The equivalent would be rating outfield players based on their throw-in capabilities.

Have to agree with this. The throw in comparison made me giggle like a little girl First and foremost we should be looking at a keepers shot stopping ability and the ability to command their area with any sort of balls from any sort of play (set piece, pk, etc). The kicking, passing, ball control, etc are a bonus for me.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Btw that was just for the arguments sake. I really don't think we need a gk. Reina is fine by me for now.
I know there are reports about him leaving but I'm sure he could be persuaded to stay, loyal fella Pepe is

I just hope for a keeper that doesn't give the ball away inside our own half too many times.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013
Only way I'd be happy to sign Kolo Toure is if he's the 4th choice.
Papa is pretty much replacing Jamie Carragher.
Papa, Skrtel and Agger fighting between them for two spots is good and an improvement on what we currently have, especially with Kolo Toure as the back-up... even if I don't rate the guy. Papa can also be the back-up to Lucas if required.
Kolo Toure has been average since his return from malaria. Losing Skrtel would be dangerous as we don't exactly know how Papa will play with his knee injury and settling in a new country, Agger was lucky this season with injuries, will he be as lucky next year? Think it's too risky to sell Martin.

He's already better than Downing, will only get better, PR reasons behind it, can play anywhere across the final third and is good. I'm all for it.

He's not staying art. Move on, eh.
As for his injury, West Ham would of assessed it before making a bid. He injured himself in the last game, and only looks to be for around 4-6 weeks anyway. There's 3 months before the end of the next window.

Spot on mate it has been some time now that we have been trying to bring in some Asian talent in the team and considering our LFC fanbase in Asia can't say it is a bad idea. But still leaves the doubt of the world class finisher we need at times.
Regarding replacing Reina for me its the most hectic part of the transfer window for us. Replacing two influential figures in the back in the same season is not ideal at all. As more time goes by Begovic seems to be the most rumored replacement not entirely sure about him.
Assaidi and Pacheco seems to be nearing exit according to the Echo.
