More relieved than anything else tbh.Hopefully other deals speed up soon too.
Liverpool Football Club today announced they have reached agreement with Blackpool for the transfer of Charlie Adam.
The player will now travel to Merseyside for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

hes quality thats for sure.
will be a great asset, especially for set-pieces and our passing.
but if im gonna be totally honest, at the same time im a bit underwhelmed cause i dont think he was that much needed.
and cause 3 of my favourites LFC players are directly affected by this transfer: Aquilani, Meireles & Shelvey...
now lets see what that means for them.

My favorite mid-fielders are always driven out :-(. Alonso, Aqualini, Raul. I'm not gonna fall in love again.

The thing with Adam is, despite him having some limitations in his game, he adds a totally new dimension and option to us. and provides Balance.
Also, he is a great tool against all those lesser teams...Remember we only took 7 points out of the possible 18 against the relegated teams of last season. Adam will help in that aspect

But honestly, it's natural to miss (or the dread the possibility) the likes of Raul & Aqualini and it's no big secret that either (if not both) can be sold.

Although they were'nt part of the Adam deal, Blackpool are in talks with two 'Liverpool teenagers'. The names are as-yet unknown.

there has been some random talks about the 2 being Wilson & Shelvey.
could be good for both,
but i'd rather see Shelvey loaned in a Premiership club tbh...
