Return of the "RAF"
The Shankly of my era is coming back to Anfield on sunday, in a rare occasion, when the opposition manager has more fans amongst opposition fans than his own, and the home fans like the opposition manager more than their own's.
After a brave and unjust exit from the FA Cup, Chelsea annihilated Fulham at Craven Cottage tonight, recording their first victory over them in 3 years, and cemented their status in the 3rd place, with a game in-hand compared to the Gunners.
Chelsea come to Anfield, having lost their last 3 encounters vs. Liverpool at Anfield, and 5 of their last 6 games vs Liverpool in all competition, with their only win being at last year's FA Cup final after an incompetent linesman gifted them the trophy by disallowing the Geordie Vieri's amazing header around 76th minute.
Chelsea are a team who had moderate success in the 90s, head-mastered by an Italian magician in forms of Zola, and another Italian chain-smoker in face of GL Viali. Their fan base comes from west London's vilest place, where non-Pale white cockneys are discouraged from supporting them by their vile ultras. Their massive success over the last decade has increased their fan base tenfold all around the world, and I was talking to a fan of them in Mongolia, and he predicted a thumping 4-0 victory for them on sunday with Mutu scoring a brace.
Liverpool on the other hand, are simply a football club cursed by a Scottish alcoholic down the M4, and no matter what they do on and off the pitch, they won't taste success until the curse is alive. So it's all pointless, and only a certain Spanish man has managed to break the curse in the past 20 years and since then he's been worshiped in Merseyside.
He comes back on sunday, sitting in the opposition dog-out. Anfield will rise and give him an standing ovation, while the racist mascots of English football go to ahead and Suarez will aim to kick racism out of football, AGAIN, and for the second time in a row this season.

Can't wait for this game... Not much to play for us any more this season (depends on Fair Play tables if we get into EL for next season), but this game and the Merseyside derby still matter a lot to me.
Also in a way the last game of the season vs QPR when Carragher will retire at Anfield

Brendan's most important game with a chance to gain some respect among delusional fans and finally the myth called Rafa will be busted.

If Lucas plays he'll destroy us like every other game he plays against us, and some scrub like Hendo or Downing will score a brace.

He already has respect.
And what myth around Rafa? lol
Delusional fans? Really? Coming from you? Half your base goes around saying "I'll do whatever in the world to see us finish in the top 4 and play in the Champions Leagues group stages and then get kicked out ... then hope Wenger gets sacked because our team is so young and we should be winning trophies every season and injuries only affect us."

Ignore him, ynwa.
And try to avoid insulting the entire Arsenal fanbase due to one troll as well... they aren't all as one-dimensional and obsessed with other clubs (and their managers) as he is.

Re: Return of the "RAF"
Well, later today then. Rafael Benitez will be standing on the sidelines at Anfield albeit coaching a different club. Will definitely get a great reception as his work at Liverpool will always get him praise.
Chelsea fans chant "RDM" on the 16th minute of every game, so Anfield is prepared to chant "Rafael Benitez" at the same time. Should be fun.
It's not just him though. They do have some sensible fans - many on this forum in fact. But in general, not so much. Which is why I said half their fan base. I attacked a good proportion of them, but not all of them to be fair.
