At half time, I'm beginning to fall asleep, but it's too cold to get out of my blankets and splash my face with some water, so I end up almost asleep throughout the second half.

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
Here are the options Im looking at for this week, suggestions welcome:
AZ Alkmaar - PSV Eindhoven: Saturday 2:45 EST
Celtic - Inverness: Sunday 7:45 EST
Benfica - Sporting: Sunday 3:15 EST
Anzhi - Dinamo Moscow: Sunday 10:30 EST
Not quite as obscure as I'd like - Are there any good games in Brazil? Hard to find an accurate schedule for Brazil cause they seem to have like a dozen different leagues/competitions going on

I don't think there are any standout games in Brasil this weekend.

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
Gotta be Benfica- Sporting.
Benfica are pretty superior, but its a derby and probably the second biggest rivalry in Portugal.
Both teams tend to attack, the big teams in Portugal really do usually go for it.

I'll watch FC Thun vs FC Basel on Sunday 13:45 GMT+1. The Basel guys will be standing dead due to their exhausting schedule, but as long as Yann Sommer plays I won't mind ^^

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
Anyone looking for a game to watch right now: Newell's is playing Velez, a win for NOB could see them being temporarily at the top of the table. NOB have been a very solid team since Martino (Paraguay's coach during 2010 WC) took over as coach.

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
My soft spot for Rangers (Non-Juventus family side are scottish and I saw my first game in Ibrox ) leads me to watching Division 3 scottish games.
If you want a laugh I suggest you watch some of that.
One of the early season games had Rangers playing in a park where instead of a stand was a giant hedge that a ball got stuck on

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
good game so far, Urruti scored a great chipped goal but it was questionably called offside, Velez equalized and the atmosphere just exploded. The Argentine league is the only place you'll see CBs trying to dribble past forwards in the last 30 meters

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
As the game ends Bella goes into cardiac arrest - hope they get him treatment quickly enough - very surprising
NOB winning 3-1
Edit: It turned out to be an epileptic attack

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
In addition to the superclassico mentioned in the other thread
Im going to try and watch Watford-Leeds at 745am EST tomorrow
Hull-Cardiff is on at the same time, Cardiff is already promoted, Hull in 2nd
If Watford wins and Hull loses or draws, Watford is promoted automatically
Watford have scored 14 more goals than anyone else in the league (25 more than Hull) and they play well, this is a video from november that justdoit_ posted awhile ago
pls pray 4 watford promotion

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
Oh Almunia was injured warming up, so 3rd choice goalkeeper is coming on - he's only 19 years old!
Poleon what a nasty bitch for pushing the defender!

Re: bhends obscure game of the week
Almunia was ruled out in the warmup just before the match
Watfords starting GK is down injured and it seems to be serious
They are now bringing in their 3rd goalkeeper, a teenager who has never made an appearance for the team

TV showing a dad with his infant at the game, infant appears to be wearing runway earmuffs to make sure the noise doesnt irritate him
Also the GK is STILL down...looks to be very serious, medical staff seen keeping his neck immobilized
