Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
Injured again, for 8-9 months.
He can't play more than 5 matchs in a season. One of the worst case of injury.
I can't see how Arsenal will still be able to be confident in his return one day. And I can't see how another club could sign him just to see him going in the nursery permanently.

Re: Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
He considered retirement few years ago. I think he will think about it again.
Really unfortunate for a player so talented as him.

Plenty of clubs in France,Germany or Italy will give him a chance, he is a talented guy worth a gamble.

He was France's best player, imo, when they played Finland in the current WC qualis. It's not just Arsenal who will miss his services.
Maybe he'll get a pay-as-you-play deal from somewhere, idk.

Re: Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
Has he ever had specialist treatment? If he hasn't then maybe he should.
When he does have it then he try and get a run of games going and if he gets injured again he should consider retiring. Or maybe try his luck at a smaller club to see if he can get a run of games going there. He could turn out like van Persie however, which is why Arsenal aren't probably getting rid of him.

Yes, he has. He is just made of glass. What a waste of talentYohan Modric wrote:Has he ever had specialist treatment? If he hasn't then maybe he should.

Even Van Persie wasn"t so often injured. The worst is that it seems getting worse.
Wenger recently said that Diaby had to prove his fitness to talk about a new contract. It is not a good start.

Re: Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
I hope he doesnt retire.
I hope he moves on from Arsenal and maybe someone else can take care of it.
Thats not a knock on Arsenal, but perhaps someone else needs fresh eyes on his problems.
Its not like hopeful though, one of the most injury prone players I ever seen. Only topped by Dyer, as Mole would know very well.

Like Diaby he was so great when fit.
I'd put Jonathan Woodgate in the same category as well tbh.

Maybe he will be better of somewhere. I agree with that. Should move back to france/spain and try to rejuvenate his career there.

Yeah, Woodgate, you can throw King in that bracket also.

Look at his injury record, best thing is to retire and make a come back in few years.

Re: Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
Lots of strains and hamstrings there....
I think Dani is right, leave get a different perspective, rest properly and maybe just maybe he can make a career out of himself.
He's still relatively young.

Re: Will Diaby end his career prematurely?
Never like to see a player go through what he's been through - but the point is, Wenger should've sold him in the summer. Wenger's ignorance and stubbornness has come back to haunt him. If rumours regarding a bid from Turkey were true in the summer, then quite frankly, Wenger has to be made accountable. Not to mention the stupid fool didn't strengthen the midfield while he had £90 odd million in the bank
