England are doing a typical Hodgson, drawing plenty of away matches even when they're the stronger team. Hodgson is good at that when in charge of underdogs - like he was when in charge of Finland - but in WC qualis it can be a risky trait to possess for an England manager.

Still, they've got mostly home games coming up and I expect them to top their group, eventually.

Way to be a patriot! The problem with england is they have always been overrated at least the last 20 years. The English supporters expect them to be among the best but in reality they never are so what happens? English supporters play it off like they don't care about their team. One thing for sure is how can you be a football fan and not support your own national team no matter how bad they are. This new young generation is embarrassing to football fans smoking

Nah not really i supported the team when we had players who bleed for the badge and felt i was supporting a bit of me out there.

Now its full of arrogant pricks who couldn't care less about the people or the country they play for.

As i have said before because i'm from the same country as people like Joe Hart don't mean i have to support him.

I just don't like the players as personalities and how they portray themselves.

Doesn't mean i hate the country, i just hate the countries football team.

It has nothing to do with how bad they are i have supported them in worse times i just don't like the players.

I mean hell if it was to do with how bad they are i would have stopped supporting Newcastle a long time ago. Laughing

I do think Cleverly, Carrick and Welbeck are good players when used properly.

At Man Yoo they are and for England they are not.

Young is bang average though.

Mole makes a fair point, just because a player puts on a different shirt doesn't mean you're going to like him if you dislike/hate him outside of National football.

Even though I've lived in England my whole life and I like it I feel zero connection to the idiots who put on the shirt.

You have Rooney cheating on his wife with old people and kicking out at players.

JT- He's pretty funny but still a mess

Ferdinand- Classless pr*ck

Cole- Laughing

Etc etc. Players like Lampard I have nothing against though. Welbeck and Cleverly haven't done anything idiotic i'm aware of.

Welbeck looks like Will but doesn't have the swag or Carlton to laugh at.

Enough reason to hate him.

Anyway that is my point i have no connection to them at all.

Back in the day with Shearer, Sheringham, Ince, Gascoigne, Beckham, Scholes etc etc

I could go on and on i felt i had a connection to those people and found them likeable.

Even though i find Gascoigne likeable because he was a drunk but still Laughing

Those players you wanted to succeed, the ones now i don't care about.

But yeah, plenty of the current England squad all have well-documented personalities I wouldn't want to know in real life. I don't care what shirt they change into I don't like them.
