FA: In fact, we're going to ban Pardiola from managing teams in the Premier League immediately. Your effective replacement for now is Harry Redknapp. And in replacement for QPR, new player-manager, Adel Taraabt.

FA: Furthermore we have contacted the FIGC and placed an immediate player exchange: Milan's Mario Yepes for Yanga Mbiwa. Also all French players in your team are ineligible for playing in the EPL next season. Why? Because we f**king can

Apparently the injury isn't as bad as first feared and will recover before end of season.
1. He must be made of titanium and not flesh and bone.
2. He's a very lucky boy.

Very lucky. He must have very flexible tendons. I'm glad. The initial reports were horrible. Now i can watch EPL again because i was thinking about boycotting lol.

Agreed, not the tackle it self so much but how they acted in the aftermath will not be forgotten by Newcastle fans.
I didn't have against them before like some people but i do now.
Like QPR i hope they go and never return.

I'm still stunned that there was no ban... not even a game. It's like committing a crime and getting a pardon for no reason lol.

Agreed, totally baffling
And then they went after the coach who confronted him on top of that
Glad to hear its not as bad as previously thought though

Kind of OT but to add to this and Debuchy's injury.... Santon has got injured as well
Simpson is the only fit fullback left at the club

Mbiwa can play at fullback and Perch can go to CB. Guttierez can do the job at fullback too imo.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Kind of OT but to add to this and Debuchy's injury.... Santon has got injured as well

Whatever happens, no Williamson ro Simpson in the game lol. Put them on the bench in case you need to sacrifice a body...

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
The FA really cock this one up. Read all 8 pages and while I agree with the ones who wrote (I believe it was Arte) that calling for a lengthy ban can be not as proactive as one think, Mcmanaman's tackle was very reckless and for that alone, he should have faced punishment. A proper punishment fitting of the act.
Not emotionally invested as Mole or any Newcastle/BPL fan but a 3-5 match ban would have been the very least a start.

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
I was thinking of Perch he's done good recently.
I swear to god if i see Williamson EVER again even on the bench i'm going to throw up.
He makes Julien Faubert look like Lillian Thuram, i'm getting pissed just thinking about it.
Its funny though we have gone from having strength in depth in most areas to having 0 depth again in couple of weeks.
Some higher power is evil and hates us.

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
When the Wigan Chairman called it a fair challenge I lost some respect.
But the FA
Had no respect to take away from them, they're now in negative respect points. If this was Grand Theft Auto then the FA would be like CJ in the beginning, 0 respect.

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
In an interview with Le Parisien newspaper, Newcastle United's French defender said: "I really thought my leg was broken, I was in so much pain I couldn't think of anything. I was completely shocked – I still am. I've never seen such a tackle in football in my life. I shudder every time I think about it."
Haïdara said he found it "hard to swallow" that McManaman will receive no punishment because the FA is prevented from taking retrospective action. "I don't understand," he said. "His tackle could have ended my career and ruined my life. I don't want to change the physical mentality, pace and commitment in England but we can't tolerate tackles like this in football."
Despite saying that he felt "really, really angry" with McManaman immediately after the incident, Haïdara maintains he will bear no grudge and will be happy to respond to overtures from the player for a meeting in the next few days. "Now I feel differently and just hope that this will give him a lesson," he said.
Haïdara revealed that a series of scans have shown no damage to his knee ligaments or broken bones, and that he has sustained nothing more than severe bruising to his left leg. But he suggested the brutal challenge may have inflicted some short-term psychological damage. "I feel the need to be cautious and don't want to go back too fast," he said. "I will be apprehensive."

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
Already been covered pretty much but official newcastle website is sayin back by beginning of april.
They also saw that this bit of lucky news in no way shape or form lessens their stance on the severity of the tackle.
Im glad they said that tbh.

As they should. Nor eason to back off just because no real damage was done, physically at least. They, and the player, could have really been compromised by the act itself, on top of the fact that the governing body isn't doing shit about it at the end of the day, I'm glad Newcastle are sticking up for themselves.
