Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
FA HAS DECIDED TO IMPOSE NO BAN!
They said that they cannot ban an act that wasn't called a foul. What a bunch of hypocrites. It is creating furor in France. It is a complete shock here. What are they thinking?

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
This is getting juicy lol. Apparently, certain French players in EPL are looking to organize a strike by all French players in EPL to protest the decision. All of them would stop playing for their clubs for a game.sportsczy wrote:FA HAS DECIDED TO IMPOSE NO BAN!

Newcastle would be drawing the short stick in that scenario lol
Anyway I'm surprised at the lack of a suspension, the challenge was just ridiculously bad.

Lol FIGC, FA etc are all fkn attrocious, it's like they get a bunch of Monkeys, sit them in one room with some crayons and take whatever shit gets scribbled down as a new rule.
Fining a club because their player got assaulted
Like the FIGC suspending reffs that allegedly help Juve and the ones who screw us get a patt on the back. Whole football system is a joke atm.

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
This decision, made by the FA does not surprise me the least bit as I quietly predicted such an outcome. I lost all my faith in this organization right after the poorly handled Suarez saga, not to mention countless others.
The notion accidents like this cannot be avoided, is ridiculous dross that mirrors the thought process of the FA themselves. Whether intentional, or unintentional we cannot know yet does it matter? We must look into the sheer physicality of the tackle in which the unnecessary intensity that propelled such a ludicrous act alone, is enough to ban the one who inflicted it. There is a ball in which you are responsible (or compelled) to win back, could this savage find no less method to win the ball back instead of diving upon the victim with the recklessness of a child? Is it a question the defensive talent of the individual? In the top level echelon of football, is the governing body so forgiving of such acts in which bring nothing but outrage and sheer damage to the victim of the act? Are we trilobites?
Letting go of Mcmanaman will not set an example to anyone. Yes, he will highly unlikely to produce such a vigorous tackle next time around since his colleagues, club, family, and the rest of the footballing world will condemn him till he is full of nothing but remorse but...can the rest of the individuals on the field be trusted to empathize the remorse and guilt brought out of Mcmanaman? How will they intrinsically mind their tackles when they know the conclusion of a dangerous act such as Mcmanaman's will only be gotten away with a slap on the wrist? Once again, the notion that these accidents are unavoidable due to football "being a contact sport etc etc" is a f**king joke of a statement.
Handing out a lengthy ban will resonate to the whole of English football in silently crafting player's thought process in MINDING HOW THEY MANUEVER THEMSELVES. Surely, at this stage of human evolution, it is not that difficult. Then again with the influence that the youth of today receive on how last ditch tackle fuelled by intensity of "the inner lionheart" is the topic of the year...every year onto the ones to be educated.
Haïdara, Newcastle United & NUFC is not alone in their loss. The whole of English Football has lost, today. Good riddance.

Can only intervene on exceptional circumstances apparently...
WTF constitutes exceptional circumstances then if that doesn't?
Also Zaha has been given a 1 game ban for a gesture today
A f*cking gesture, f*ck this shit lets move to France.

I was at the hospital having a blood test to see how much drugs is in my body.
I think the FA should do the same

How is it even possible to come to that decision?
Drogba can explain the state of the situation better than I can, here. It's a f*cking disgrace.

This is totally obsurd by the way..mostly the cowardice to hide behind such rubbish "rules"..
Something is seriously wrong when stuff like this is allowed to happen.

Re: Ban Mcmanaman until next season pls
We should pull out of the FA cup next season once the draw's been made, just say we didn't see it:
FA: Chelsea v Newcastle United
NUFC: Nah, don't think we'll bother with that thanks.
FA: But you have to, it's been drawn.
NUFC: Well we didn't see it.
FA: We're showing it to you now, you're playing Chelsea.
NUFC: But we didn't see it at the time.
FA: It still stands, there it is.
NUFC: Well we saw ourselves being drawn but we didn't see all of it, so we're not playing Chelsea.

FA: Fine here's a hefty fine and ban from the FA cup. We'll probably deduct points off you in the league as well for good measure.
