TBH you have tried to do too much and it's killed the picture. The image effect you have over the picture doesn't add anything to it, besides making it hard to see, and too much players IMO.

Also no Suarez no party.

What I want is a kind of mural-like effect, as if this were on painted on an old wall. I agree, it does make it hard to see some of the players, and that needs to be fixed.

Regarding the no. of players, it is difficult to please everyone, yet keep the numbers down. Suarez is a case in point.

Also, feedback on is the use of suits instead of jerseys, the colour scheme, and the inclusion of GL memes would be good too.

Your dissapointing use of Chelsea players (lampard doesnt look lie Lampard and hes the only one youve got) is well and truely made up for by the inclusion of chen

I love the idea of using pictures of players in formal attire, whilst I particularly approve of the inclusion of Hoewedes, Reus and De Rossi.

I much prefer the clean version, though I'm not opposed to some filter being used over the current design, I agree that the previous filter obscured too much detail though.
