Quagliarella wants Juventus future
Fabio Quagliarella has never wanted to leave Juventus. “He’ll never ask to be sold either,” says his agent.
The striker’s future in Turin is in doubt as he is not assured of regular first team football, but Beppe Bozzo has told Tuttosport that the 29-year-old is content in Turin.
“Even if he has played less than expected, Fabio has never asked and will never ask to leave Juventus,” the representative noted.
“Fabio has worked hard in a number of different shirts in order to be given the chance to wear the prestigious one of Juventus.
“I don’t see any valid motives for him to leave. If at the end of the season Juventus are happy to keep him then Fabio will be happy.
“And that has always been his objective.
“If, however, Juve would prefer to sell him then Quagliarella could only agree if another big club wanted him – and the offers would not be lacking!”
The 29-year-old is the outfit’s joint top scorer in Serie A this term thanks to seven goals in 16 games. He also has three in four Champions League ties.
The former Napoli man is expected to start in this evening’s European Cup encounter against Celtic at the Juventus Stadium.
