You obviously never watched him while he was at Spurs. As I said before, he's amazing, but he still has a long way to go and that's the scary part. He has barely scratched the surface of his full potential.

I used to kind of hate Bale when he was by Spurs inspite of his all skills and abilities...the guy is proving to be just a phenomenon, I want to wait more to appreciate him but he has already impressed me in RM shirt :bow:

sometimes I think looking at bale other players like Benzema have started taking their chances hmm

I've been pleasantly surprised by Bale.

I remember when he was playing LB for spurs. A few years later he's at that level .

Bale's done ok this season, nothing extraordinary however considering his price tag. I'd like to see how he does next year if he stays fit all season.

Bale has been great for us. still adjusting. what surprised me most is his work rate. he tracks back a lot. i was afraid he is going to be Ronaldo ver2 but he is not selfish and helps the defenders.

I think most people are marveling that the guy tried to rugby tackle him out moreso than who it was against. Do you really need to be a world class player to grab and tackle someone?
