3D is awful. Watched a couple of movies in 3D right back when it was the new thing and wasn't impressed at all.

Yep.There's a 3d tv at my grandmother's and I watched the WC 2010 final in 3d.Doesnt make much of a difference to be honest and 3D itself hurts your eyes.

3D televisions convert 2D into 3D digitally and it doesn't make much of a difference to be very honest.

Re: Has anyone watched a Football match in 3D?
ES my suggestion is you purchase the 3D T.V as a long term investment.
3D football is quite an interesting experience especially when viewed in an HD channel. It is fantastic to see an experience which is immersive and almost as if you have some of the best seats in the house.
Not only that, but with this investment you will not only have the 3D Futbol option, but 3D gaming and viewing films in the same format.
I'm a synesthetic so 3D is taxing for my senses and eyes if I go more than 30 mins but I highly recommend this investment.
Just be careful when viewing Serie A in 3D as I doubt you want to catch a glimpse of Morratti's teeth in full 3D *shivers*

Not yet but would like to watch it in 3D.
Don't say they will also provide you in 3rd person view? You will feels like the player who controlling the ball and shout.
