Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
Name four of the most important/influential people in your clubs history (players, managers, owners etc.).
For Madrid there would be Santiago Bernabeu and Alfredo Di Stefano for sure, can't think of who the other two may be.. Raul? Puskas? Perez ?

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
Impossible for me to name just four, I will just name one that will for sure be on every Milanista's list, Maldini

Three of the four are recent. I'd have Pep, Messi, Ronaldinho and the fourth would be another legend. Maybe Gamper.

Pool: Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard
Madrid: Santiago Bernabeu, Alfredo Di Stefano, RAUL, you are right choosing the 4th one for Madrid is difficult. Miguel Munoz, Puskas, Gento, Sanchis, Hierro, Uncle Flo, Iker, Santillana

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
In terms of "important/influential" people: Berlusconi and Paolo Maldini are 2/4. Baresi is probably one of the other 2. Then there's a long line of former coaches and players who deserve a mention. Gianni Rivera maybe? Nereo Rocco? van Basten? Ancelotti (player and coach)? The list is endless.

Hoeness, Hoeness, Beckenbauer, van Gaal.
Seriously, Hoeness deserves two spots. If that's against the rules then deal with it.

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
Narrowing it down to four is tough, there are four faces on Mt Rushmore so that's why I chose that number obviously.. But I'm sure most clubs wouldn't be able to narrow it down to four people themselves lol

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
As a matter of fact, for RWO this should be easy - we can simply use the four guys that are symbolized by the clover leaf of our club logo (the original founders and most important guys of the beginning years who were known as "the Kleebatt" (the four-leaf clover) then):Swagg wrote:Narrowing it down to four is tough, there are four faces on Mt Rushmore so that's why I chose that number obviously.. I guess that's as much Mount Rushmore as things get as there are practically no guys here anyone knows anyway. Okay Lothar Kobluhn might be a name to be remembered as he got the BL "Torjägerkanone" once while playing for RWO. Unfortunately most other players of name we had only made their names later when playing in other clubs.

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
Yup. He was asked by some friend 6 or so years ago to show him the "Torjägerkanone" (which is actually a model of a cannon), and then he realised that Kicker never actually gave him the prize (unfortunately his record was during the 70es Bundesliga scandal and no one actually thought about giving out prizes then). In 2007, this was finally done.Forza Rossoneri wrote:He didn't even get his top scorer trophy till recently.rwo power wrote:Then:Forza Rossoneri wrote:

Re: Your Clubs 'Mount Rushmore'
Berlusconi will never and should not deserve to be part of our "Mount Rushmore" as a figure such as that cannot represent Milan.
Milan: Baresi, Maldini, Rivera, Van Basten
Liverpool: Shankly, Paisley, Dalglish, Gerrard.
I notice no one named the founders Poor them

From what I have learned of Islam, apparently (correct me if I am wrong) it is disrespectful to show a visual depiction of illustration of the prophet.....so you can see where I am going here.
