They f*cked up on not giving Eriksen a contract earlier and now he only has 12 months left on his contract. Well, at the end of the this season. They'll be okay.

Alderweireld isn't really that good. He's okay but not so good. It's a fair price for him.

As for the Liverpool rumors:
Dede is an interesting one that doesn't seem to be getting as much press since he doesn't play in Europe. I can't say I've seen him play much, but from what I hear he's a more stout defender than Alderweireld/De Vrij.

If we do get Dede, we would suddenly have a decidedly South American feel to the club both in style and nationality. Quite the reversal from the Hodgson days.

I'd put it at about 80%. He's not been getting on with AA or Zeman for the most part, he's withdrew himself socially from the squad, and is disliked heavily by the fans as well the catalogue on pitch issues stemming from red cards to missed penalties.

That can only be a good thing considering the British policy didn't work out as well as we'd have wanted it.

Although I'm not a fan of just focusing on one specific part of the globe. I really would love some more Africans, Eastern Europeans, Asians, and Scandinavians in the team. But above all if they are good and fit our needs, it doesn't matter where they are from.

The agent of Parma midfielder Sotiris Ninis has revealed that AC Milan are one of the clubs showing interest in his client.

Ninis, 23, was regarded one of Europe’s most talented footballers just a couple of years back, but his career at Parma hasn’t got off to a perfect start.

The Greece international has failed to nail down a regular starting berth at Ennio Tardini and made just 4 Serie A starts this term.

However, it appears he is still held in high regard by some top European clubs, including AC Milan, Spartak Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow.

“A number of clubs have watched Ninis’ performances, including Italian Milan, Russian Spartak and Lokomotiv,” agent Ioannis Ammanouilidis confirmed to Izvestia.

“His price is higher than €10 million. This may be a serious problem in the negotiations between the clubs.”

Sotiris Ninis came through the youth ranks at Panathinaikos and was handed a first team debut when he was just 16.

He went on to make a total of 100 league appearances for PAO before joining Parma on a free transfer last summer, but he has yet to prove his worth in Italian Serie A.

Pique, Puyol and Mascherano aren't top CB's?

No. Pique is Top 10. Puyol maybe 1-2 times per season has rolled back the years and thrn hes Top 10 too (possibly knocking Pique out of the Top 10), but thats very rare. Overapl, hes just a good defender at this point. Mascherano is extremely average and error prone, possibly the worst defender that a real CL calibre team regularly plays at this point.

On the Ballack note, he had a great career at Chelsea. Was an integral part of the team that got robbed by Barca in 08/09 and that lost on PKs to United in 07/08.
