Oh really? have i made threads about them? have i compared them to anyone above their stations?

Nope not really.... i have been very impressed with Mbiwa but i haven't said anything in regards to hype.

As for Cabaye the biggest thing i have said about him is IMO he's one of the best CMs in the league and i don't really think that is overhyping because the level of CMs isn't exactly La Liga level.

Assumptions are bad.

Arteta plays as a DM so its really irrelevant but yes i do think so.

If Cabaye wasn't injured all season/ plays for a team that no one cares about more people would agree.

Same goes for Mbiwa and Debuchy, both have been great but its not even mentioned because we are not relevant.

Gerrard failed, Lampard failed, Yaya failed, Carrick failed.... yet Cabaye dominates them and he's average Laughing

Also Swansea is another team we dominated since Cabaye came back from injury, not Cabaye's fault we didn't take our chances and Swansea took theirs.

Jallet is terrible. When Sagna and Debuchy were healthy last time around, Jallet didn't even get called...

Cabaye was good, not great, with Lille. Mavuba was the key to that midfield and Balmont second. In France, you don't really play B2B under french managers. Cabaye wasn't a good DM or a good CAM. That's why he wanted to go to the EPL so bad.... tactics are made for him. He's going to have a hard time in France NT though because Deschamps is going to go to a 4411 with Valbuena, Pogba, Matuidi, Ribery, Benzema and Giroud. He just couldn't do that against Spain obviously. I like Cabaye... but he's nothing amazing.

Mbiwa was very good with Montpellier last year. The best? I'd say so. Most of the CB talent in Ligue 1 was very young and Sakho was off form. The best french CBs aren't playing in France tbh... Varane, Mangala, Koscielny, etc. all play abroad. Very good talent Mbiwa. I like him a lot. He has WC potential. He's the #4 CB for France NT right now behind Varane, Sakho and Koscielny. Mangala is breathing down his back though... especially if the Barca rumors are not BS.

Juventus interested in Jovetic. They would offer Giovinco and Marrone as part of the deal. Giovinco is worth 22m Euros, while Marrone is worth 4m.

Jovetic would cost 30m.

Cabaye is best as a DLP as far as i'm concerned i hate seeing him as an AM or B2B.

When he plays as a DLP he reminds me of Alonso, albeit a bit more mobile.

B2B and AM take a lot of strengths away.

Jallet should be like 7th choice. Corchia should be 3rd choice if not Aurier.

Yeah... of all the players Newcastle has gotten, Mbiwa has the most talent with Ben Arfa by far. Cabaye and Debuchy are overachievers imo... very good at what they do however.

I can agree with that Debuchy is very good at what he does. ( been extremely impressed with him actually but not hard when you are replacing Simpson i suppose) But i can definitely tell that hard work is a massive reason of how he's got there.

I think Sports is basing his opinion on him as a AM or B2B where quite frankly takes a lot of strengths away and he's much better in a Pirlo like regista role.

You would be best served looking elsewhere though as he will cost 30m as the owner is crazy about him and doesn't want to sell him unless he gets Carroll money.

i never said Cabaye is bad. I'm saying he fits a certain role that Mole described. Rudy Garcia runs a possession-based 433 where Mavuba and Balmont recovered the ball and Cabaye was asked to be the more offensive-minded CM. He was good, but not great in that role. I never thought he'd be as good as what he became with Newcastle tbh.

Same goes with France NT... you had Matuidi and now Pogba that like to come deep to get the ball from the defense. They're both better than Cabaye at it. That may force Cabaye on the bench on NT (nothing to be ashamed of given how good Matuidi and Pogba are).... if Cabaye could play the advanced role better, then i think France would stick with the 433. But that's not Cabaye's strength although he can do it.
