Man City favorites for Jovetic - report

Manchester City are the only team with any serious interest in Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic, according to reports.

Transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla has claimed that the Premier League side are the sole side to have made contact with the Viola regarding the Montenegro international.

A host of clubs including Juventus and Milan have been linked with the 23-year-old striker, but the Sportitalia reporter has insisted Roberto Mancini's men are top of the pile to sign the goalscorer in the summer.

Jovetic has been in sensational form this term, scoring 12 goals in 24 League games and could cost upwards of €30m.

That's different to this imo. The club just wants to see how a player is off the pitch prior to buying him.

Yeah it's different alright. Pique was already created at FC Barcelona and a Barcelona player for awhile. While Bale has nothing to do with Real Madrid yet and they are already snooping around his personal life

Even Di Marzio now says that Man City look the likeliest of teams to capture Jovetic.He says Man City 'insist' on Jovetic and that the Fiorentina board in the end will make an assessment and decide what to do.

Is Jovetic a good finisher? Man City should maybe go for someone like Cavani or Falcao. Dzeko will probably leave.

That was before we got Hazard I believe, Currently, Schurrle being a winger is not needed, KDB being versatile, is.

We enough wingers now so I doubt we are still interested in Schurrle.

Schürrle is as much of a winger as Podolski though, he'd probably be boss at SS, maybe even CF. He's pretty decent in the air as well. He plays on the wing, but I really wouldn't call him a winger, he's as close to a striker as modern forwards still get to be.

But you still got a valid point, that itch is probably being scratched by Hazard.

Not just Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Moses and to a lesser extend Marin and Lampard as well.

Also, I felt bad calling Schurrle a winger because I know he isn't but I was too tired to think of the proper term Laughing
