You tackle the opponent and he still keeps it and ends up 1v1 because your defenders ran into each other or something.

Hummels was at fault for the Costa goal, gravely misjudged the header. I have no idea why you're trying to blame Schmelzer, what is he supposed to do?

Götze should have done more to delay the free kick before the goal free kick, Santana didn't need to be so rash but the DM's should have never allowed the ball through the middle of the park like that.

Bad defending? False, ze germanz never zcore because of bad defending. They are so good and mentally challenging zat ozer teams are bound to make zis mistakes.

Well in Shakhtar's defense their are lack matches this year.
in the league they are still in the winter break because of the weather in Ukraine and the lack of modern heating in most stadiums.

so they prepared for the game in friendlies...

romanian teams face the same problem when they manage to qualify for European knock-out phase.

The defending isn't so bad imo both anticipated correctly that Lewa was gonna shoot, what they didn't anticipate was him miss timing his shot so badly lol
