Juventus to rest duo

Sebastian Giovinco and Claudio Marchisio will start on the bench in Juventus’ game against Fiorentina, claims the Corriere dello Sport.

The duo have been struggling with injuries that saw them miss out on Italy’s 1-1 draw with Holland in midweek.

Although the youth team graduates are ready for action, boss Antonio Conte will not risk them from the start on Saturday evening.

Conte is thought to be saving them ahead of Tuesday’s game in Glasgow against Celtic in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Corriere dello Sport adds that Stephan Lichtsteiner and Andrea Barzagli should be available this weekend after returning from international duty with fitness concerns.
