Re: Jonny Evans
Not sure where that graphs from but both Evans and Kompany definitely have red cards this season...

Re: Jonny Evans
he's talented, but sometimes make costly mistakes when it matters. However, he will matured with time, much like nani, welbeck.
The thing that astonished me the most is that PJS started. Although i know SAF love using him in important games, but the guy has been unfit. He is too inconsistent this season.
I hope we can get someone in the midfield very soon. I'm tired of seeing the old dogs trying to carry united (scholes, giggs). They aren't who they were. Still amazing, but age really matters nowadays.

Don't hold your breath, mate. It will be 2 more wingers and some unknown Peruvian youngster. (Or another defender).
Then SAF will come out and say how we were in for all the alleged MF'ers, but that there was no value in the market and how inflated it's become (which is true), but same ol', same ol'....

Re: Jonny Evans
Johnny Evans this season (excepting home game against City and maybe one or two more games) was outstanding. That's good for us.Phil Jones had a great season start but then...he ran out of energy and made many mistakes. He is more talented than Johnny and maybe in 3,4 years he will be more efficient for the team and will provide security in our defense.

Then we just ride our luck through the seaon....tbf, we didnt really deserve a championship this season. A lot of games were won with luck and inconsistency.
Mancity would be way ahead if they didnt slip a few bad games away.

Re: Jonny Evans
This shouldn't even be a thread. Never rated Phil Jones, never will. Imo, just a typical English player. Technically poor, doesn't have a good balance hence he tend to look shaky on the ball and always look to sprint forward with the ball (Much like overrated Gareth Bale). Tactically not the best too. However, he's powerful, determined and quite composed for his age. Wouldn't pick him over any of United's CBs and would'nt start him over Rafael in RB.
Evans on the other hand is improving on the mental side of his game. He'll be a top defender once he get the errors out of his game.
Btw Vizkosity, your sig is very distracting. As in, not a good way
