5 most overrated fullbacks

Sometimes he scores in crucial moments, for example: against Arsenal and Newcastle. He also had a good season so far. He is not the perfect LB, but he is playing well at the moment...Anyway, I won't try to convince you about his quality.

Kyle Walker as Sepi said....deserves a spot on this list....all pace, no brain.

Lahm has declined a bit, but I still rate him solely for his consistency.

Evra is ridiculously overrated. He's scoring goals this season, but that's not his first priority...he has not locked down his flank like he was able to in previous seasons.

Maybe I'll get some hate from Milan fans, but I think Abate is overrated as well as Maggio. Abate showed a lot of promise after he was converted to full-back and that was largely down to his pace, stamina and crossing ability...he still has the first 2, but he's declined a bit with the 3rd. I never really rated Maggio highly to begin with. He's a decent wing-back. Doesn't really stand out in either facet of the game.

We dont rate Abate highly anymore.He was a rock solid defender on his first season but after that year,it went downhill.Hes not even a starter anymore,he lost his position to MDS

First of all it was the italian media and Lippi who said that second of all that was like 5 years ago ffs....

Every talented player is hyped the all hell as kids we might as well include them all

It's Van der Wiel. Just thought I'd point it out since I see his name wrongly written a lot on this forum (and people seem to strugle in general with Dutch names like these). 'der' should always be in small letters. The V in 'Van' should only be in caps when not mentioning his first name. Something similar with RVP. It's Robin van Persie or Van Persie.

Anyway, the guy can't defend if his life would depend on it but when in form he can be good attacking wise. Never understood why anyone would rate him in the first place. Far too incosistant to even be considered a good fullback especially since he can't defend at all.

don't think you can include arbeloa in this since nobody rates him apart from Mourinho

Cacktrao: 30 mill for a guy who plays similar to a younger arbeloa. I remember people said he was better than marcelo attacking wise before he came no jokes essien is a better attacker than him from the bench

Lahm: always rated as the best rb but he getscompletely turned inside out everytime I see him

stopping bale isnt hard jusg putting it out there in case he does

Basically all the '' good fullbacks '' are overrated

Paying 30M for contreao

Coentrao isn't overrated imo, he's rated fine. He's not worth 30m though.
