Just played Journey

This game has left me absolutely speechless. I can not begin to describe just how amazing it is.

If you have a PS3 and you have not played this game yet you are an injustice.

yes, i remember the day i found out about it, i was for an hour on youtube watching videos of it

never played it, but it looked so unique. shame i dont have a ps3 : /


btw offtopic but do you play any mmos or generally online games right now on pc?

I bought the collectors edition.

Just might be my game of the generation. It really is a shame it's exclusive, everyone should have the chance to play this.

This part is one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my 20 years of gaming. Just wow. I had to pause the game just to soak it all in.

Never understood the fascination around this game and watching that video i still don't.

Music is amazing but doesn't seem much of a game.

It isn't a game, its an experience

If i wanted just an experience i'd watch a movie.

It is a game. You need to play to experience it.

I saw a few videos beforehand and it looked like a visual and musical joy, but that's all I took from it, I didn't get the same feeling that I ended up getting from playing it.

It's quite difficult to put into words. Sounds corny I know but honestly if you eventually play it you'll understand. Just go into it with an open mind.

The multiplayer aspect is a big factor and superbly presented. I ended up being fortunate enough to experience 9/10's of the game with a random player I bumped into along the way only to lose contact with them at some point during the incredible ending segment, dem feels when I found them waiting for me at the end of the journey.

You don't know the names of the players you encountered until after you finish the game. We both sent each other thank you messages afterwards

If you aren't moved in someway during Journey, you're either a liar or incapable of thinking/feeling on a basic human level.

Journey manages to emotionally invest you within the span of a 90 minute playthrough, something a multitude of games fall flat on even with 40 hours of gameplay.

Imo it's probably not as emotional as CoD 4.

That's what I thought..................Until I tried it out myself. Just try it out yourself.  Game play vids with commentary don't do this game any justice.

Sit back, relax...put your feet up, you will feel as though you're playing a nice dream. That's the only way I can describe it, really.

I also like the way you bump into other players online during your journey (like Firenze said above). I was like 'woah' when I read all the psn names at the end of the game.

Simply amazing. Words can't do justice to the beauty of this game. Call it a game. Call it an experience. Call it art. Call it what you want, this is a masterpiece.
