Thiago was great and JDS was too when he came on. I only saw the 2nd half though tbf.
Well... the decision of giving yet another touch after dribling the GK and having all the open goal to score was not great. He then slipped.
Fair enough. If it wasn't for extreme bad luck this would be just another decision that didn't make a difference, but I guess you can say it was a bad decision, yes- due to the fact that the bad luck did indeed happen.
Anyway, good win. Hope whatever happened to Villa is fine (I'm sure it is) and he gets back out there more often than not from now on.

I'm sick of players getting injured. Two players got injured today... We don't get any luck with injuries...

Well, bar mostly Iniesta, I don't remember us being particularly injury riddled badly for the past 4 years. I mean, yeah people would get knocks here and there, but it wasn't like it has been this year.
Maybe it's just our time. We've been fairly lucky with injuries over the past couple years, if my memory serves me correctly.

Yeah but it's just ridiculous. This season where having a rate of an injury every match.

He just slipped and that had nothing to do with the extra touch, that had to do more with his shoes and the pitch. And even then, apart from his finishing, I thought that he played well last night.

Only got to see parts from the first half so I'm going to download and watch the whole game, but... ThiaGOAT. This kid is so awesome. He's got that sort of nonchalance about him which sometimes costs us the ball (and that is something he will have to keep working on) but man it's great to watch him play.

Our midfield is overwhelmed of talent and deserved starting places... Who on earth to bench against Malaga...

He makes one touch less and he scores. When you are in the box, you have to finish as fast as possible.
Anyway, don't want to bash alexis, I felt sad for him and I want him to do better.

One of who? Lighten up man, I'm just happy the kid is an awesome player and has everything in him to become a massively important starter for our team in the future.

In the end it is what it is though. I feel Alexis is being too criticised on here for his performances but at the same time you just cannot turn a blind eye to his bad finishing. The feeling is creeping up on me that he will never be as clinical in front of goal as we'd want him to be and in the end that's mostly what he's lacking. His general play really isn't that bad as some of the people here make it out to be (we all know he's had good games ffs) and the whole 'pass back' thing is overused regarding him but he just needs to *bleep* step it up in front of goal. But who knows, maybe Juventus offer 20/25M for him in the summer and he's gone.
Re: FC Barcelona vs Cordoba FC
Just for the record, he never was a clinical finisher, even prior to joining Barcelona. His fame came from his energetic displays, explosive power and fast dribbling, which Barcelona can't really make the most of seeing every team plays 10 men behind the ball and pretty much no space for him to exploit.

I know. But I feel it would contribute immensely to most people their feelings about Alexis' performances, that and some more consistency.

I don't say y.olo. I hardly say swag. That goes for irl and for the internet.
I just express myself in whatever way I want; with slang or without it.
