Teixeira 'dreams' of Juventus

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Alex Teixeira has admitted that he 'dreams' of playing for Juventus.

The Brazilian striker has starred for the Ukrainian club since his arrival in 2010, but has conceded that he would love to play for the Bianconeri one day, after tasting life in Turin during their meetings in the Champions League this season.

“I want to respect my four-year contract with Shakhtar,” he told Lancenet. “Then, once I've done that, I have a dream of playing for Juventus or in the Spanish League.

“I will try my best to make that happen over the next few years.

“I think my best performance in the Champions League this season was against Juventus in Turin. And when we beat that at home, that gave us a lot of confidence.”

i wouldn't be upset if this would happen ... He can take Willian with him also to a Brasil Juve! ... Italian defenders and goalkeeper, brasilian attacking mids/Wingers and Marchisio+Vidal+Pogba.. Bright future!

I love it when I see a quality player say they dream of playing for Juve...one for the future!

Havent seen much of him though or even heard much of him. I guess Willian, Luiz Adriabo, and Fernandinho are overshadowing him. Just how good is he?

He is very good but I dont see where he would play at Juve...Juve need to sign Mateo Kovacic...we are linked with him...he's only 18 and his price is around 4m at the moment but what a talent! Check him out on youtube!

Teixeira is a good player...If we could get him next summer would be great!

bro he is sick! He goes past players for fun...he can play anywhere in the middle and I think he could be just as good as Pogba already!

tbh I think he is better than Pogba even thou he is a different player
