Football Formation Creator Thread
These can be made here:
http://www.footballuser.com/
Alright, so I made this thread which hopefully catches on where we can post any formation we would like to using the many formation generators we can find online. We can and should post pretty much anything formation related whether they be future squads, fantasy squads, proposed improvements to already existing squads, have tactical discussions, etc. I see many many times here on the forums we make our quick XI's which is great because they always pertain to their particular thread. So this is one where you can just post an XI you might have in mind.
I'll start us out with a few I've been working on for a few days which demonstrate Spain's current depth with a few different line-ups. I just took the expression of "you can make 2 or 3 teams from their depth" and made it literal. These squads range from WC to at the very least decent. Here they are:
This is one Spain XI with foreign (outside of La Liga) players:
Here is another with foreign Spaniards:
This is an FC Barcelona XI:
Can't leave out the Madrid XI:
And finally a La Liga XI:
And thats still leaving out players like Soldado, Negredo, Adrian, Navas, Granero, Garrido, Capdevila and lots of others. Did I miss any clutch Spaniards?
Anyways, that's just to give an idea of the formations we can post here so feel free to post one whenever, whatever it may be.
BTW the site I used for these is footballuser.com. And I am sure many of you aware of this too, lol. But there it is.

This is what would be a cool formation for Brazil in 2014.

I gotta check out more carvajal. Montoya has been decent lately. No Cesc up front in 2014?

Although I'll admit that defensively they would be a bit open since literally no one would track back but the three in the back would handle it I think.Surag wrote:barca 2011 wrote:What do u guys think of this one for Argentina in the WC?

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Lamela clearly is not a CM and Lavezzi is a forward and wouldnt fit in a 3-4-3 wing-back system in my opinion.
Put Ansaldi or Zanetti instead of Lavezzi,Biglia or Banega instead of Costa.

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Nice thread...
Spain has so so many great players. It's juz amazing.
I agree with that 2014 squad of Spain, except for Rodrigo upfront. I'd go with Pedro, Soldado, or maybe even Adrian or Michu on current form. And who knows maybe David Villa will get back to his best before the world cup *praying that it happens*
But it's still a year and a half to go, so who knows by then who'll be the in-form Spanish striker. Maybe even Torres will be banging goals in by thennn...(feck i'm saying) and if VDB can't make up his mind, we all know there's still the false number 9 guy = Cesc

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Yeah, and instead of playing Lamela in CM, Masche could be put in his spot and Coloccini replaces him, just to give some more stability defensively. I was thinking Banega as well but he's been just so-so as of late.Surag wrote:Lamela clearly is not a CM and Lavezzi is a forward and wouldnt fit in a 3-4-3 wing-back system in my opinion.

Thx. Yeah its pretty remarkable. Spain seriously has a good 60+ players who all have or will very soon have a very real chance of making it on to the senior Spain squad. Now I see why VdB said that he does work as hard as Mou, lol. Thats quite a bit of players to track!El_Gunner wrote:Nice thread...

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Pedro's form hasn't been any better.
However I think Spain need more than 1 finisher in their side. Not sure if that would ruin their system though, since they won with 1 finisher at the Euros.

What Arsenal should play or atleast try, at the moment.
3-5-2
Needs more attacking wing-backs... aside that I think it's a pretty cool formation. We have shite wingers so we might aswell try this.

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Here's a few new ones I've been using for FIFA 13 lately:
What would you change?
Man Utd:
Madrid beaters??? eh???? It's a 4-4-1-1 with Carrick slightly deeper and Kagawa a bit further up.
Chelsea:
Here's something I just tried and it actually worked in-game. 4-3-3 with Oscar as a false nine, or if Pep took over.
Italy:
I did ok with this Italy. Very similar to the EURO 12 final line up but I think this team would do a bit better. 4-4-2 with a diamond.
Belgium:
And thats my Belgium who are actually doing well in the WCQ so who knows if they can go boss mode in a year and a half.
Anyways, post yours for whatever team.

Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
I'm pretty sure we've had a discussion about what a beast Yugoslavia would be if it were still united nowadays. Still, theres a very interesting mix of players and I think this team could do well if it wasnt impossible. So here's who I would select if I were the coach:
Yugoslavia (in Bosnian colours):
Cool team, and they'd have a bench consisting of Vidic, Spahic, Pjanic, Kranjcar, Pandev, Vucinic and Jelavic, to name a few.
Impressive.

Dante was chosen in the European Sport Media team of the month for December, for the 5th time!
No Brazilain CB is as good as him, no Brazilian DM is as destructive as Gustavo. If Dante and Gustavo don't become undisputed starters for Brazil I fear they stand no chance of winning anything with those bunch of girls in yours starting
11, no offense but its the truth.
Re: Football Formation Creator Thread
Oh, I'm not offended, its not like Im brazilian. But that formation was then. ATM, you could put Dante in for Luiz but Luiz would be put at DM, over Guztavo. Here's another similar potential line-up now that Luiz plays at dm and again, lots of players will have lots of ups and downs from here til then. The Messiah wrote:barca 2011 wrote:

Too offensive, Kagawa isnt even a number, let alone a centermidfielder. He is like a second striker really.
Put a runner in there, Fletcher for example, whos job it is to annoy the life out of Alonso and expose his lack of mobility, take out Nani for him. You dont need a leftwinger, let Arbeloa come forward, he is useless and will only ruin the attacks. In fact, him coming forward is good, the space you can exploit on both sides with Marcelo being defensively.

I think its fair to add Mandzukic to the list of Yugoslavia. He's got 20 goals already, he could walk into this team as well.
