I really hope Madrid gets Schalke or Bayern, then I can laugh at my Madrid fans friends and say yuou can't get out of the round of 16.

I have no any other reason except for this, I just want Bayern or Preferably Schalke to draw Madrid just for the laugh in it after they get kicked out.

Underestimating Schalke is risky. They are a virtual lucky bag - they can play abysmally bad at home one day, while on the other day they can beat anyone even away. So better not dismiss them too easily, even though they don't have Manuel Neuer in goal anymore.

schalke will be tough to beat over 2 legs for anyone imo. they did very well 2 years ago and can easily replicate that this year.

Truth be told I'm sort of glad we're pretty much gaurenteed a tough game. We seem to play better this season when it's against "big teams".

Getting revenge on Bayern would be great but I'd want to avoid them at least for now. Getting United would be awesome because I think that would be a fantastic tie and it would mean I could go to the stadium for the second leg eco smile

btw some wrong information that is mentioned here regarding Shakthar's 'impeccable' home record.

Porto beat them at the Donbass Arena too just last season..Barca and Juve being the other two teams to have defeated them at home ofcourse.

We beat all the big sides in Serie A(including the Treble winning Inter side) back when we were shit..That doesnt mean anything.

Also i dont know how Milan is underrated..You got the easiest of Groups and just managed to scrape through to the knockouts..You didnt even create an impression to be 'rated higher'.

Barely, it wasn't a good representation of the team's respective strengths, however it does illustrate that the majority of the first placed teams will want to avoid us, lest we take a leaf out of Chelsea's book, parking the bus and relying on moments of magic from our front line to get us through.

I would agree to an extent though, beyond Madrid, Shakhtar are the most formidable of the second placed teams.
