City star Kolo Toure tricked student into affair by claiming to be a car salesman

To be honest with you, some men I know need to tone it down when it comes to paying for everything. I will gladly offer to pick up the check on the first date, but my first dates are at cafes. I'm not going to shower my lady in gifts and I don't want her to do that to me. On my most recent date, the girl insisted she pick up the check (I tried to pay, but she insisted, it's 2012 after all). I'm hoping that you understand the difference between picking up a small check and buying a women jewelry, clothing, etc... If it takes all that for a women to "be" with you, chances are, she doesn't want you.

I agree but your talking about a casual date when you are in a long term relationship what is wrong with buying Somone a gift? They did not start being with you for money but if you both get succesfull along the way what is wrong with presents to cheer each other up. I travel a lot for work so I buy my wife gifts from around the world but it doesn't mean that is the reason she is wit me because I was not as successful when we met. To add to it she has her own business so she wouldn't need my money anyways. If you ever get married you will understand or maybe not that is just a segment out of my life.

women who expect a man to pay for everything are leaches. I not only respect the independant woman but i also find that trait very attractive.

I don't know what you understood from my part but it seems like nothing. I am talking about a marriage you are talking about a teenage romance. If you find te right woman then she will not leach.

I agree with what you're white Star, when you are married it's your responsibilty to provide and spend on your wife.

I don't think you're understanding us. I don't have to be married to understand sharing gifts, I've had my fair share of long-term relationships. I also never claimed that there was anything with giving gifts (I merely started that it wasn't MY thing), I have no issues with couples who want to buy each other stuff. But let me make one thing clear, there are other ways to cheer people up. I think it all comes down to finding a balance, you clearly seem to have that with you wife, but in this instance (Kolo and "model"), that was not the case. For example, I know a couple and I'm actually friends with both of them (more so the guy, but I knew the girl first). He pays for all of their meals and they have been going at it for 4-5 years (I think that is isn't right, but it's not my place to say anything). I find that type of imbalance disturbing and that balace thing falls into all categories (emotions, money, gifts, etc...).

I will also add that this girls action on a casual date spoke volumes about her (unless she's playing a long, drawn out game), if she was willing to pick up the first check, it tells me she isn't looking to leach. I date girls who will enjoy my company and I hope to enjoy theirs.

Ok so that was my point.

That's why I initially stated men shouldn't pay for sex because it is a last resort like being desperate.

I dont know if you know what marriage is but i am in a marriage and would never cheat. You make a huge decision in your life you better be ready if you not then dont do it. I dont understand why people devote themselves to each other only to cheat it is beyond stupid!

I'm not condoning cheating, I hate it and have never done it and never will .. But if you're going to do it then you might as well do it 'safely'

Because cheaters are the scum of the universe (especially if you cheat on your husband or wife), and I'm a trust worthy and honorable individual.. If I want to sleep with multiple women I will just continue to be single
