I got quite f***ed over last night in career mode. I just advanced through this last summer transfer window and Messi forced his way out of Barca, for $91 million. I chose not to sell him to see if he would stay, but the "board" sold him for that much when I could've gotten around 120-130 million. Gotta love the realism that they claim to improve every year.

Also, can someone help me out?For some reason when I play the interactie WC all of my players have maxed out stats.Oscar for example is a speedster, FK speicalist,playmaker

Up to 4th spot with Fulham after 6 games, legendary isn't as lame as last fifa game I feel. I've managed to beat Man Utd and draw with City but my only loss so far in the league has come against Wigan .

Berba is top scorer (obviously)

Pure tiki taka system, got my 2 ball playing center backs (I've improved Fontas up to 76 so far). Montoya and Riise my full backs who always push up and join the attack.

Diarra sits & holds with the simple pass, whilst Roberto does a similar role but gets slightly more involved further up the pitch.

Lee & Cuenca are really good at dribbling and beating their man and then launching a cross or what not into the box, Cuenca also seems to have an eye for goal, its a shame Lee hasn't scored yet .

Ruiz is a technical wizard, but slow as hell same with Berba both are pretty similar styles. Only problem with them is that they are super duper slow and lazy, sometimes neither of them are in the box which annoys me.

I've got all my Masia kids on an option to buy so hopefully I can keep them end of season, Petric and Hugo Rod ain't really firing so much so if Berba gets injured am screwed .

The stuck in the arena glitch has dissapeared.Great.The bad thing is that theres a new glitch now.Just after you get through the arena it either says "lost connection" or "Online squad files do not match".The good thing about it though is that you dont have to turn off the PS3 and then open it again,the bad thing however,is that it has happened like 9 or 10 times in a row while the other happens 1 in 4 matches or so.So many glitches on this game.

Curve it, and you'll increase your chance greatly with finesse

Finesse in 12 was way too easy.. So i'm glad they nerfed the *bleep* out of it

there shouldnt be a difficulty level-choice
semi-pro, world class and crap

i play against espanyol,reading or chievo at world class and they are like i play a top class team
whereas if i put it to semi-pro and i face juve,chelsea or any other team in the career it will feel like i play a mid-table team, with the weaker team being trash opponents

I think the playing style's of teams have improved though.

In previous FIFA's most teams played like Barca. Now there's teams who play directly/hoof etc.

Every game since the N64 has had difficulty options. It's a basic component of all video games these days.

I'm a bit disappointed that they haven't really improved the logic AI uses in Career Mode.

They've added some good things, like cutting down on the highly unrealistic transfers and giving us the option to be sent out on loan. But there are still a number of problems.

For starters, transfers still don't make sense. Laurent Koscielny was sold to Marseille for £6mil. Mario Balotelli moved to Valencia for £20mil. Real Madrid have sold both Higuain and Benzema. Barcelona signed Rooney because Rooney randomly decided he wanted to leave. Transfer fees in general are lower and players still go wherever regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

My player is currently at Arsenal. His overall is only 76, yet he's being played every week ahead of Podolski (83), Giroud (80) and van Wolfswinkel (80). I've been put on the loan list and am receiving offers from League 1 clubs, yet at the same time also receiving offers from the likes of Ajax, PSV and PSG to leave permanently.

Then, when I ask the manager to take me off the loan list, he just flat out refuses despite me averaging close to 9.0 and having 17 goals and 15 assists in January.

It's not really game breaking, but it is really annoying.

Yeh, they've limited the unrealistic transfers, but there's still big players moving to clubs that they probably wouldn't move to in real life.

Maybe there could be a setting, which determines whether unrealistic transfers happen or not. The setting would be at the start of the career mode save, alongside the usual manager name, financial strictness etc settings.

why dont you try professional then, its all about finding your niche in the skill levels

i am getting royally screwed with injuries right now tho, Witsel goes down with a torn hamstring for 3 months, then Subotic gets a sprained ankle out for 3 weeks, all right before my european semi final vs chelski...and CB is the one place my squad lacks depth, didn't rotate them enough so back ups got unhappy and forced a sale in last transfer window, Ogbonna and Subotic have been carrying the load all season

I have him in career mode and ultimate team...he's such a beast and I always enjoy having a 5 start dribbler.

My defense is very solid in this game and it was my offense that took me a while to get clicking. I'm really enjoying this game, but I do find that it rewards hoof ball and I just have to so constantly defend off the ball waiting for someone to chip it over the top. I play the 3-4-3 diamond in clubs and I have a custom 3-4-3 (CDM-LM-CM-RM-LF-RF-ST). My friend noticed that most people decide to play with 5 at the back and just park the bus (I don't really mind, but it's annoying that they reward such tactics).

Wtf is up with these phantom penalty's?? I was just covering a player coming in on the edge of the box (didn't even press circle or square), he crosses it into the box and misses a volley then the ref blows his whistle and points to the penalty spot.. I didn't even know what the *bleep* happened

There wasn't even a replay ffs.. It should be mandatory to see why the penalty was given.. Just cost me a game ffs
