You're either using crap players or you're not using the L2 trigger for close control.

I use manual shooting and crossing, semi-assisted passing (will probably switch to manual at some point).

Apparently there's a new patch.

Hopefully it fixes career mode.

Only out on PC at the moment I think.

Hey sorry guys late to this thread so it's hard to read through it all. Could someone summarise the bugs/problems for me? Haven't really had any so far but in past Fifas career mode always crashed at some point for me too... Pretty lame.

Anyone else notice Xavi gets called Kovacevic every now and again lol?

I have this really annoying habit (for a few years now) of holding chipped shot when it comes to rebounded tap-ins in open nets... Yes it sounds retarded and no idea how it started but now it's a reflex action :facepalm:

. Whenever it's a tense moment and eg. Keeper saves a shot but it quickly goes to another player in on goal I press chip button... I think it developed out of a confusion between which was placed shot and which was chip.

It's possibly the worst habit one could have lol. Quite laughable really... Missed countless goals because of it.

Btw I have a real problem burying chances. On average I have 55-60+% possession and create many more chances but they hit me on the break or score a damn header (Ffs they are hard to defend).

Any advice? I often miss my chances and find myself passing round the box.

Headers are not hard to defend. Just make sure you have a good position i.e in front of the opposing player and head the ball back in the direction where it came from. Works every time.

Also, using B or X will give your headers more power and will allow you to jump higher (you'll lose the accuracy you gain from using the A button, but there's no need for that when clearing.)

Well taht should help out some guys on here with their career mode (Bhends, Eman)...looks like they've fixed some career mode bugs, specifically that loan/buying freeze

Career Mode items including:

Stability when editing a Virtual Pro if the squad is full.
Stability when the loaning team rejects the loan buy of a transferred player at the end of a season.
Player contracts increased by 1 did not take effect in player's profile.
Penalty Kick Takers can be selected prior to a penalty shootout when playing as a Manager.
Continuation of player stories after the player is transferred/sold.
General stability during gameplay.
