Pepe (Juventus)

His crossing is poor but he's actually been an unsung hero for Juventus. Unfortunately we play 3-5-2 now and I wouldn't play him as a RWB over Licht/Isla but in a 4-3-3 I would have no problems with him starting.

He is non-stop work rate and chips in with a fair amount of goals and some of his runs last season were epic.

Hernanes, beast CM, good CAM. I can't believe why he isn't called up for Brazil. He can play in a 4-3-3 with Oscar and Lucas/Gustavo IMO. (started his carrer as a DM)

Defoe simply CANNOT be underrated considering he is the lovechild of the mainstream english pundits who rate him as if he is the next coming of Ian Wright. Good player but not underrated.

Finally someone rates the Basque Roonay here. He is the ultimate impact who subs adds much with his work rate, two footed skill and vision. Far better than most SS out there.

Absolutely.

Lennon may be a one trick pony and limited yet as far as I'm concerned he causes serious havoc out there with his pace and movement. Is a more effective player than Walcott as well as I would love to have him in my team.

Barry is a rare mention as since most don't understand tactics they don't understand Barry just because his play is subtle. Theres a reason why tactical behemoths like Mancini, Rafa and Capello all rate him and would start him every game. A tactically astute player. I rate him.

This is perhaps a bit pedantic but I'll say Glen Johnson. I don't believe he's nearly as error-prone as is generally made out. I rate him defensively far higher than most that I've talked to.

Other names that come to mind seem more to do with name recognition rather than actual rating... players like Strootman, Sean Johnson, etc that are not really rated only because they're not widely known yet.

The only other player I can really think of that currently comes to mind is Landon Donovan... still gets far too much stick for one bad run in Germany, while ignoring all he's done since, especially on the international stage.
