Swansea were excellent. They have improved so much since sacking Laudrup. Best team to come to Angield this season as well. Can surely see them taking points off one of Arsenal/Chelsea. Especially Chelsea since the game is at liberty

To be fair, this is at least the second post since Laudrup's sacking where you're discrediting him, Sepi. He did have a fantastic season last season with them, winning a trophy, and it's such early days with Monk that it remains to be seen whether he's genuinely going to improve them or is it just that new manager effect. Personally I still think Laudrup's sacking was harsh.

Unfortunately Betis will come up against Sevilla in the Round of 16, so one La Liga team will certainly be eliminated.

Valencia (if they make it, they have a 2:0 lead over Kyiv) will be going up against the Bulgarian team that beat Lazio, I can't see them losing.

Was still a ridiculous decision to sack him, just like Sherwood at Spurs the new coach fad will be over soon.

Higuain is indeed amazing. Where his finishing has regressed in Napoli, is where his abilities as a pure footballer have shone. He actually controls tempo up front now under Rafa and his decision making regarding his passes and movement is just stellar. How he consistently is within the game whether be leading counter-attacks or providing outlets for Insigne and Hamsik is excellent and makes him more than worthy of his price.

As for the rest, matches like Ludogerets v Lazio and the unbelievable tie between Porto and Eintract just proved how the Champions League is a tourney of frauds while this competition is absolutely beautiful.

Best league in the world.

OT: As for -Traponaspor and Juve, guessing Juve have amounted to 78 shots versus the keeper who has having quiet the game (however futile).

Also I find it unbelievable that Betis managed to progress, seriously considering all the drama surrounding them I think them getting this far is one of the greatest underdog runs of all time.

Anyways, this is how we should have played last week, can't believe we sat back against this mob even if it was our B team. If we were a little more focused it would be 5 or 6-0 at half time

Their full backs are nowhere to be seen, they have nobody locking the midfield down and their GK is having a very good game but should have had back ache picking the ball out of his net by now.
