FT: France 0-1 Japan.

Giroud's miss lead to the counter which Kagawa scored apparently.

Chamberlain was pretty ineffectual bar that goal. Spent the entirety of the game in the centre and linked up well with the other players, but produced very little in the way of creativity and seldom beat his man with the ball. Took his goal very well, but not a great performance.

Walcott probably has some rib damage after that completely unnecessary challenge by the San Marino keeper. He managed to get up and walk off the pitch, but he looked winded and was holding his chest as he went off. He's been sent to hospital to get it looked at, though they said it was only "precaution". He'll probably miss the game against Poland.

I watched the last 10 minutes, Giroud wasn't at fault lol

He had a great shot which was saved, then the counter attack came.

Walcott will stay in hospital overnight for observation, according to Hodgson.

Is Ramsey still Wales' captain, or was it passed on to one of their senior players?

Diaby was missed badly
France was like rich mans west ham
wtf was that midfield
plus Ribery benz combo been joy to watch
but they didnt play at same time
as for Giroud
movement was there
but things werent going his way
that 71 min chance
bleep me
but that reminded me of some misfiring Arsenal striker oly been compared to
he should have tried his luck with weaker foot
but maybe it was different angle(i mean tougher than it looked) to what we saw on TV
Lack of confidence probably
at least they trusted him and didnt take him off

which percent of this team will start vs spain?
not looking forward to that one at all
gonna dominate the shit outta us Sad

I feel slightly better now Razz

Massive respect to Sweden, don't know where to begin with that display at the back, Neuer was confusing the bejeezus out of his own defense.
