We just lost van der Weil and Theo Jan for less than 7 million euros

My head is literally spinning at the moment. Every year we are stripped off our best players. We scout them, we train them from when they are 14, and they go and leave for very low prices. At least Arsenal get good prices for their players.

I pray the FFP actually does something. Our club will never move forward if we remain a feeder club to these people. If we retained our best players, we would easily be competing for the champions league.

Not signing players for a lot of money isn't a matter of concern for a club like Ajax but keeping hold of them is.

How the heck did Ajax lose Theo Janssen to Vitesse?? Did he want to leave or was he forced out?? I'm pretty sure a player doesn't just leave Ajax for Vitesse for no reason

Can you tell me something about your wage structure?
Do the players get enough "compensation" for playing? If not, that may be the root of all Ajax' problems.

Ajax have to hope they do something big, so they retain all their players.
