No Moutinho is no good news for Tottenham. Also their squad is very thin on the wings now. They've got Bale and Lennon but after that you've gotta play Dempsey (much better at CAM) or David frigging Bentley on the wings. Helluva lot also rests on Dembele to perform in CM unless you trust that Huddlestone, Jenas or Livermore can make something creative happen there. Sandro and Brave Scotty Parker as DMs should be good, though.

glad they missed out on Moutinho, their Squad would have been strong. I think Dempsey will struggle there, i can't see how he will fit in with their formation and style of play. Also most of his goals are score when he is given time and Space which he won't get because teams tend to play deeper against Spuds.

They could just but Dembele on wing instead of Lennon and use double pivot e.g. Brave Scotty Parker-Sandro. They have good/decent fullbacks which could have more freedom to push up. Or they could also drop AM deeper to CM position and have one pure DM.

They may not be "natural" wingers like Lennon, but I'd rather play Dempsey or Sigurdsson on the wing than him...They already have a natural winger on the left in Bale (assuming he doesn't move to the center) - and a fullback who gets forward on the right, so I think they can afford to play someone who is a little more direct on the right wing to cut inside

Most likely AVB will try different things, but imo they should play 4-4-1-1 with Lennon and Bale on the wings and Dempsey/Sigurdsson as CAM and bring one or the other on from the bench if needed. I rate Lennon too highly to push him behind Dempsson as a winger.

I don't get why Tottenham fans would criticize Levy, he's done his job. Got a huge fee for Bale and was able to bring in a bunch of players that someone else wanted to sign. Meaning it's not his job to identify players that the club should sign. Get a better manager in in the summer and that's Levy's job again done.

I think they're happy they have moved on from being mid-table. However, they still keep sacking their manager and they haven't got a squad like Chelsea to be getting away with it either. Maybe, they feel he's taken them as far as he can.
