Re: Real Madrid vs Granada discussion
Casillas, Arbeloa, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo and Higuain to start
I expect us to play with full forces no matter who the opposition is

Confirmed Real Madrid's starting XI: Casillas; Arbeloa-Ramos-Pepe-Marcelo; Alonso-Khedira; Callejón-Modric-Ronaldo; Benzema
Best possible 11 in my opinion, I'm expecting an improved performance, I hope Benzema shows why he was preferred to Higuain last season.

At first I was "Who is this Yohan Modric guy?" then I took a look at the section's threads creator, then I figured it out.

Lol, Benz had gained quite some weight, he's so sluggish and slow around the ball.

Modric has been excellent so far in this half, but we're missing a lot of the final passes, it should improve in the second half.

Re: Real Madrid vs Granada discussion
What I liked about Modric is that it seemed like he always knew where our players are, in contrast to our own players whome seemed like they never played before.
Though that did make me think...we only play/used to have just one creative passer in our team. Suddenly I'm glad even more that we got Modric.
EDIT: Aaaand Modric was just taken off for Ozil, wanted to see both them play together.

Re: Real Madrid vs Granada discussion
Higgy has left his finishing to home...
One thing is clear that Modric is mediocre as a AM, and that spot should be only reserved to Özil. Id like to see Xabi-Modric as a partners more often.

Re: Real Madrid vs Granada discussion
Ozil was pretty rusty when he came on, hasn't lit up the season so far. Benzema was lethargic and Higuain continues to miss easy chances, though he looked far sharper than Benzema.
Ronaldo and Modric were the standout performers for me in this match, I hope Ronaldo's injury is not serious.

Re: Real Madrid vs Granada discussion
Actually it wasn't clear at all he was "mediocre" especially that two posters above you just praised him. Why do always people in here seem to think their opinion is the correct and "clear" one?
