great to go into a match and fully expecting to score goals rather than hoping that we might sneak one maybe.

lol i quite disagree, i thought the first half was quite alright but second half we just sat back and tbf we just had to do that to get the win.

It was a very result oriented approach and quite boring game, imo of course.

Yea we definitely did take our foot off the gas a bit in the second half, but considering we were 2-0 up and this was our third game in the last 6 days, can you really blame them?

And boring? Really? There was probably more excitement in that match than I've seen from us in awhile. Probably the 5-1 against Spudz is the only exception, and before that, probably Napoli at home, which was over half a year ago. There's still alot more work to do of course, but I don't know how anyone can look at that match and not be excited about the things to come.

The Reading game was not exciting?

Beside the fact we came back from 2-1, we created chances left and right in that game.

I just thought against Newcastle we just sat back in the second half, and it was the right thing to do.

Glad you enjoyed the game though

There have been exciting games in between of course, but they've been against all the smaller, weaker teams. Playing as attacking and attractively as we did today, especially in the first half, against one of the best sides in the League is quite a step forward for us.

i guess i shouldnt complain if we're putting sides away in the first 45mins, although i would like to see s get pushed for the full 90 by a strong side

great win today, I was surprised we were playing with both Hazard and Mata in free roles. Meireles and Mikel dominated in midfield which was great.

I do like the Cole-Bertrand partnership, not for the attacking, cause it sucks, but for the defensive stability.

Hazard was MOTM again. Mata is improving and Torres

I also quite liked the Luiz-Cahill pairing. they did very well.
